Otters! This is the first major update for Matrix Hearts! The In-Game ZippyApp brings you a phone that you can play throughout the game. You are prompted in-game that you have new Texts and ZippyApps waiting for you. A phone icon then appears, and that's how you get to the adventure! Texts your friends. Flirt and comment on ZippyApps in the game. It's up to you! Your interactions bring you closer to the woman of Zippyzinc. Thank you for your patience. It has been a long swim through the ocean to get this perfect, and now that it is, it can be used in every new chapter going forward for Season Two! If you were waiting to play Matrix Hearts, now's your chance! For an entire week, August 14th-21st, you can enjoy the game at 15% off the regular price. This is the first official discount for the game since it was launched, because I wanted to wait when there were a few patches. The next update is going to be a big one, the in-game phone integration. You can navigate, text, and go on the Zippyapp to talk with and comment on the pictures of the locals of Zippyzinc. Ello Otters! The new patch for Matrix Hearts is in the ocean! This begins the animation refresh for the game, which includes increasing the quality and framerate of the animations starting in Chapter 3. There is a new animator coming with even more incredible skills, so we are going to be moving to better animations. I work on everything in this game aside from crazy programming like the gallery or the animations. I render them, but another otter goes in and uses my graphics to make the animation. You can find a new animation with Layla once you come home from the arcade. I am going to keep rolling out these new animations over the next month, so if you have an update for the game, that's why! Ello Otters! I am happy to announce that Chapter 4 of Matrix Hearts is fully written, and I am working on programming! And while I am working on the next season of the game, we also have updates to work toward for this current season. The animation refresh was supposed to launch this afternoon, but there were a few things that we realized we had to fix. +While no one had noticed the issue, there is a huge one that involves not being able to name your bird if you are on that route. I could have fixed this without telling anyone, but that's not the Otter way! +The current heart route with Layla and the route with Xia needs a slight rework. The hearts aren't adding up to correct paths and achievements, and we want to fix these because, you know, romance game, romance girls. Ello Otters! Thank you from the ocean in our hearts for playing Matrix Hearts! We have officially been launched a month now, and it has been an amazing whirlwind. But the game isn't fully complete yet! There are a few things I wanted to add to Season 1 that hadn't been worked in yet. There are plenty of otter-ly awesome things coming to Matrix Hearts! Coming this month is going to be the Animation Update. There are a few animations in the game that weren't quite as smooth and lewdzy as I wanted them. These all come in Chapter 3 because that is the Chapter that I, the Main Otter, began the art and animation for the game as well. Ello Otters! This is the first patch for Matrix Hearts! Here is the full list of fixed issues for the game: +The game now runs on both Mac and Linux +Fixed the image issue with the Otterly Ultimate screen when talking with Xia +Fixed the character issue when clicking on a few of the Point and Click Otter Hunt images +Patched the Otter Replay gallery that wouldn't go to page 3 These were the most important things we wanted to fix for players! Ello everyone! We have officially made it to the 9th! Matrix Hearts is ready to play. Right now, we are waiting on Steam because there was a new Mature Content Survey that needed to be filled out, and we had filled out the old one a long time ago. Hello Everyone! We wanted to give you a quick little update on the upcoming release of Matrix Hearts! The game is almost complete, but we had to make a tiny adjustment to the release date. There has been a soft push of a month on the release. While the main build of the game is going to be finished on time, there is one thing we have to play it safe for: animations. Matrix Hearts is built entirely in house by one Otter! That was the main reason for the first delay, because the writer took over for the artist as well. The only thing that isn't included in that are animations, which are outsourced to another artist. The animations haven't been completed as fast as we wanted, and while the main build of the game is going to be ready, these animations might not, and we don't want to release a product that isn't 100% complete. Hello Everyone! We are Blue Otter Games, and we are excited to have our game Matrix Hearts release on Steam! We originally planned to have it release this month, but because we changed graphic engines from Cinema4D to Daz Studio for Chapter 3, we had to render and work on images to make certain they were perfect. Our new release is May 8th, 2023! We are very confident we can get on or at least around that date, even if in the month of May. We want to release the best possible version of the game, and the one we are working on now is going to blow you out of the water.
