• New logo, who dis? - 17 September 2024

  Updates The Bare Minimum Studios logo recently, decided to stick in it game cuz it looks nice. i would put a Old VS New comparison here for those who don't have my logo lodged in their memory, but putting images in these announcements requires a solid 10 minutes of work I really don't feel like doing LOL. There were no new levels added to caleb mode this time, sorry guys

  i realized im stupid and on the extras menu, hovering over the bestiary displayed the warden on the job info and vice versa. i fixed it :)

• WARDEN ON THE JOB IS NOW OUT! - 10 May 2024

  The anniversary update for Rectangle Guy is here (and maybe a bit late whoopsies). It includes a brand new epilogue to the game's main story called "Warden on the Job". Warden on the Job includes 5 challenging levels and a new boss, and is meant for players who have already beaten the main story of Rectangle Guy. If you've already beaten the game, you can jump right into the new update, just check out the "Unlockables" menu. If you haven't beaten the game yet, well, you got some work to do.

  WOAAAHH!!! THERE'S NEW RECTANGLE GUY CONTENT?!?! Yep, that's right, there's new Rectangle Guy content in the form of this FREE DLC. Warden on the Job is a brand new mini-campaign with new levels, a new boss, and a bunch of new mechanics to mess around with. You once again take the role of Rectangle Guy, embarking on another journey. Last time, Rectangle Guy reclaimed his throne as Warden of the True Void, and now, he has to actually do his damn job. The True Void has been causing mass amounts of corruption, and only Rectangle Guy has the power to close the rifts and reverse the damage done.

  Couldn't select time attack in World 2 without having beaten all levels, the new world map selection was not meant to have this still in tact Added a level to caleb mode

• New update, added some cool stuff - 8 March 2024

  While watching people play, I've noticed they struggle at first with the world maps. It was a little janky so a menu pop up has been added to make things smoother. Slightly changed the background in Profit City and 3-1. No new levels added to Caleb Mode this time, this will be fixed later.

• Changed a few things for Time Attack - 2 December 2023

  Made it so time attack can only be accessed once a world is True Completed (all levels and boss beaten) Changed the world map signifier for when time attack mode is activated Fixed the terrain in Mayor M. Onee's fight during boss rush so it accurately matches the real boss Added 2 more levels to caleb mode

• New patch, made something slightly easier - 8 October 2023

  Changed the Time Attack mode for the first phase of the final boss, it used to require a speedrun trick that not many people knew about Added two more levels to Caleb Mode

  A friend and I were talking about the special main menu screens so I went in the game files and realized some would appear and the wrong day and fixed that. I also added two more levels to caleb mode and a special thing for getting through it.

• Another patch, fixed a glitched, changed a thing - 24 June 2023

  Made Time Attack Mode not accessible until after the first world has been cleared. I noticed that players would sometimes accidentally activate it and then be confused why they couldn't enter levels. Fixed a glitch where upon entering a world map, a direction would need to be tapped once before being able to move. Added two more levels to Caleb Mode.
