Important note: As of 20/9, Crush Penguin should be able to just be launched through Steam. There should be no need for this guide but if you're still having problems, this should fix it. I'm working on a fix for the achievements currently. So as most of you are probably aware of, Crush Penguin has had some installation issues on Steam regarding the executable file missing. I've spent a large amount of free time trying to fix this issue, discussing things with my co-developers, and going back and forth with Steam support. With my patience running thin, on 17/9 I announced that I would release the game for free on GameJolt and remove it from Steam. This was met with... shall we say, disappointment from the playerbase. Well, yesterday afternoon Crush Penguin saw kind of an *early* release due to a manic state I was experiencing. The original release was slated to be released on the 17th of this month at 3am (the default Steam time, surprisingly), however I thought releasing the game on a Monday at 3am wasn't exactly the smartest move. Any purchases made from this game will go to future game installments, and hopefully to expand the universe seen in Crush Penguin if possible. This game was produced in about seven months and involved the creative works of three people working in entirely different departments over two different platforms. First in GameMaker, and then in Ren'Py as you see here on Steam.
