  Greetings Surveyors! It's been awhile, hasn't it? I apologize for that, things took a lot longer than I expected them to, but I have some exciting news:For Mother Matron is getting a big update on NOVEMBER 17TH!This update aims to add some much needed polish and quality of life to the game that I feel was necessary. Additionally, I've added some new features that will enhance the experience for new players while also giving old players a reason to revisit. KEY FEATURESDifficulty Options - You can now adjust the strictness of the decision timers with three difficulty options. "Threatening" is the game as it has always been with some minor adjustments to make it a little more fair, "Relaxed" gives you lots of time to choose, and then "Life Is Miserable" is for sickos with crazy reaction speed. These options do not affect the story or achievement progression, so use whichever you prefer! Y…

• Update #3 (Version 2.3) - 26 October 2022

  Hello again, Surveyors! This patch took me a little longer, but it's a substantial improvement to the game! The short version is that I squashed lots of bugs and typos and adjusted the gameplay a little so it works better. The long version is down below: New Things - Saving is now disabled during the timers. This will eliminate bugs relating to saves and loads made while the timer is active and also make the timers more meaningful. (Can't really do anything about saves made before this update during the timers unfortunately, but I highly advise against using them as it leads to strange behavior in the game.) -Added some additional voice acting for Meaty Marissa (Thanks HollyberryVA!) Tweaks / Adjustments - Rebalanced audio levels for sound effects and ambient tracks.   Hello again, Surveyors! Thank you so much for your interest in FOR MOTHER MATRON! Like yesterday's patch, I have some more small fixes, tweaks, and additions that bring the game closer to being the best it can be! PATCH NOTES New Things: - Added voiced dialogue for Pux in the scene where you talk with him in the cave. - Added voiced dialogue for the Mother Matron when you talk to her outside of her chamber in the beginning portion of the game. -Added a vomit sound effect if you throw up the free sample of meat from Meaty Marissa. • Hotfix 1 now live! - 17 October 2022

  Hey Surveyors! There were some sneaky bugs that made their way to the launch build, so I've quickly patched them out! PATCH NOTES: ================ -Fixed some incorrect jumps that had spelling errors and thus would cause a runtime exception. -Fixed the trigger for "Hate When That Happens" achievement. It should now pop off properly and not throw an error. ------ Be sure to restart Steam to make sure the update applies.
