• Simplified Chinese now available in game! - 18 May 2023

  To change languages, go into the Preferences menu and swap back and forth between English and simplified Chinese with the click of a button. The transition meant some decompression, so it's a hefty download right now and I'm hoping to have that compressed soon!

• Superspy Steve Release Date - 9 March 2023

  Superspy Steve will be available for purchase on March 24th! Put it in your wishlist today!

• Superspy Steve Coming Soon - 17 February 2023

  The very first finished game from Jill Gates was unearthed and I'm hoping to get it into early access by March. I'm remastering the sound, killing all the bugs, and possibly writing a few new endings for the intrepid Steve to have some follow-up adventures I'll be announcing in the summer months. Make sure to wishlist Superspy Steve today!

• New HD Graphics! - 27 January 2023

  Romancing the Kingdom is now in HD! We hope you enjoy the new look, and get a more immersive experience from our visual novel. All graphics have been AI upscaled to a full 1920x1080 then optimized for performance. If you have already purchased the game, you should see the update when you launch. We'll be including some minor updates in the next few weeks and any patches that may be necessary. Have fun in Tropia!

• Thank You - From the Developer and the Publisher - 12 January 2023

  Cringe Games and the developer of Romancing the Kingdom want to thank players for their feedback and some encouragement for future games. We will be setting up proper socials and a discord server to announce upcoming projects in the next few months. Currently, I'm working on some graphic upgrades to Romancing the Kingdom to enhance the visual experience and possibly give some translation options for Spanish and/or French. I'm unfortunately working with a limited schedule for the next few months, and so I must beg for patience. We really need reviews if you have the time for it. Tell us what you liked, hated, loved, etc. Your reviews help to guide us towards making improvements when we can.

• Mac and Linux Users - 10 November 2022

  A miscommunication from the developer resulted in the game failing to load for Mac and Linux users. We have repaired the problem and we apologize to those who had this problem at launch. We are also beginning an HD upscaling for Romancing the Kingdom and we hope to announce a date for that patch within the next few weeks. The next game following RtK, Sword of Wonder: It's Good to be a King, is HD upscaled and will launch on Thursday, November 17th. Check back here for game updates, patches, or give us feedback.
