• Languages Update! - 15 March 2024

  Popcorn Rocket now has another 10 languages besides English! The new languages are: Spanish (Latin American) French Italian Portuguese (Brazilian) German Polish Japanese Chinese (Simplified) Korean Russian This update was a long time in the making and can now be enjoyed by more people across the world! This update will roll to the demo, Epic, and the Consoles shortly.

• Easy Mode Added! - 1 February 2024

  I've been listening to all the feedback and have now implemented an Easy Mode for the game! You can access the Easy Mode Toggle in the options menu at the title screen. Or change it in game on the fly so you don't have to go back to the title screen! List of differences in Easy Mode: You now start off with 5 lives instead of 3. All of your weapons are now stronger, so most normal enemies will go down in one hit and the mini bosses and bosses will go down faster. The game's most difficult boss in Stage 2, The Cookieroid Monster's 2nd form can now be defeated with normal weapons as indicated on the top right. You can also play through all of the bonus modes in Easy Mode. While you will still need to put some time and effort to get all of the achievements, it should be much easier now. • Start and Continue Game Fix! - 31 January 2024

  Now when you start or continue the game, you will get extra prompts asking if you want to load your game and it will display the progress on the bottom of the screen. I know many people have accidentally saved over their progress by starting a new game as the game saves at the start of each level. Start Game will now ask you if you want to overwrite your progress and start over from the beginning. Continue Game will ask if you you want to load your game or restart any completed level. You can start from any completed level from the Continue Game option and levels you haven't completed are locked. Hopefully this will prevent people from overwriting their save data and will show your progress. This update is now live here on Steam, Epic, and the PS5. The Xbox update is still being approved by Microsoft, but should be done by the end of the week. Happy Poppin'! - Ryan

• Ending and Music Fix 12/29/23 - 29 December 2023

  Fixed an glitch where the sound stops if you skip the ending and the 2,000,000 main campaign achievement should be working after the final score tallies if you get the 2,000,000 score.

• Patch 1.20 Fix! - 9 November 2023

  This update fixes the following: - Level 6 Boss Tractor Beam Fix upon Boss being defeated and carries onto Level 7 with the Popcorn Rocket still being dragged towards the enemy. - Level 8 Boss Fix for Normal Game and Boss Rush where the game crashes if you collide with one of the roses while it's still on the boss. - Music fix for Level 10 Boss Rush where the music won't play if the Boss Rush is restarted. - Various Audio Fixes to balance audio and sound effects better.

• Popcorn Rocket Demo Update 4/24/23! - 25 April 2023

No more guessing and getting a weapon you don't want! I have also added an indicator for kernels and nova bombs showing how much you've collected and added to your total amount. Also, I have done more optimization to reduce lag in certain parts along with fixing the bugs I've seen in recent let's plays of the game on YouTube. Watching these videos has been incredibly helpful since people can catch all the stuff that I've been unable to catch. I'm still working hard on the achievements for the full game which have been incredibly difficult to work with, but every day I'm getting closer to making them work properly.
