  Hey Herders! Thanks to EchoMoose (https://www.twitch.tv/echomoose), we got the idea to give every cat a name! So, we named all our cats, added a couple of new cat colours, and added in a splash screen for the third of our anniversary week updates. More to come in the next couple of days, enjoy!   Hello Herders! We'd like to thank everyone who has bought the game, talked about the game, or shared it with their friends so far. We've found nothing more rewarding than seeing new multiplayer times pop up on the leaderboards, and we're extremely grateful for your support. Cat Herders was released on Steam one year ago TODAY! (07/11/2023) To celebrate, we're pushing one of our biggest updates yet, with a whole host of new features, improvements, and fixes. The biggest change we've made is that the default difficulty is now easier. We realize that the original game was pretty difficult, and after a while of tweaking and playtesting, we've arrived at a new version that we think everyone can enjoy. • Version 0.3.8 is out! - 21 November 2022

  Hey Herders! Over the weekend we found a bug in the leaderboards that meant that some people's times weren't showing up, so we've fixed that. We also made some minor changes to terrain in various levels that should make the cats navigate a little better. Enjoy!

• Patch Notes 0.3.7 - 10 November 2022

  Hey Herders! For our fourth patch of the week we've fixed a lot of geometry related issues with some of our levels, which should make it easier to not lose the last couple of cats in some corner somewhere. We've also rebalanced a few of the items, in particular nerfing the Barking Doggy. It's now more effective than before at short distanced, but less effective at longer distances. These changes mean we need to reset the leaderboards unfortunately, but most previous tactics should still work. Finally, we've added a small "how to play" section to the main menu. Hopefully this is enough to get new people started, but don't forget to check out our YouTube channel for more!

  Hey Herders! Another small update here, we just pushed some changes that fix some bugs with picking up/throwing cats, as well as a couple of leaderboard bugs. As well as that, you can now select items with the number row on your keyboard. You know, like every other game on the planet. Enjoy!

• Some leaderboard stuff! - 8 November 2022

  Hey herders! Just another quick patch today. We were playing around last night beating each other's times and realised how much fun it can be, so we quickly added in some rudimentary leaderboards! From now on any time you finish a level the game will upload your time and let you know how you stack up against the rest of the world. We made a quick walkthrough of how to do the House level quickly for anyone who wants to be a pro-gamer speed-running chad like Tom: Download the update and see if you can set the time to beat!
