  Thanks, PAX West — here's how to actually play If you found deadHex at PAX West last week: welcome, and thank you. We're a small indie team funding this out of pocket, and watching people get loud over a match is why we do it. The important part: the servers deadHex isn't always-on yet. Matches only happen during Sessions — scheduled windows where we spin the servers up and everyone plays at once. Outside a Session the queue won't find anyone. That's not on your end; there's just nobody (and no server) on the other side. • Demo is live! - 14 October 2023

  We’re having a 10 day demo on Steam, from October 13th to October 22nd. This means that if you are reading this post, we’d love for you to demo our game on Steam. Given the projected volume, we strongly recommend that you bring a friend. Now, there will be bugs. Probably a lot of them. There may also be things you feel are inherently unfun and/or unbalanced, and that’s okay! Your input is crucial to shaping the game we all want to play. Can't make it this time? Don't worry, more demos are on the horizon. If all goes well, we'll aim for Steam's next festival and, perhaps, an early access release. Our ultimate goal is to create a fun, competitive, and free-to-play game. We hope you have fun playing DeadHex.
