  I'm happy to have reached a big milestone which includes all dialogue and UI texts being done and localized in the game. The game now supports multiple languages including French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese. My next big milestone will be to finish balancing all fights by tweaking creatures, relics, upgrades, stats and all that jazz!And oh! I've finally started showing the game on social media. • 2025-11-13 - Development update! - 13 November 2025

  Hey everyone! Woah... one and a half years later, and I finally decide to say something about this game. It wouldn't be fair of me to say that everything has been smooth sailing. Making this game surely has proved to be hard and very demanding, but also rewarding in many ways!I'm still working on it, and I would say things are going quite well right now. I've implemented all core features and I'm currently focusing on the remaining content.The story is basically done, I just have a few more dialogues to write. All the zones have been built. The enemies and creatures are all implemented, and so forth...!I can't give a release date yet. For now, I just want to give the game the time and energy that I'm able to provide, and hopefully, in a not-too-far foreseeable future, the game will be available for everyone to play.I think that's all for now! • 2024-06-22 - Development update! - 22 June 2024

  Raider camps: Raiders are infiltrating the forest. Are they friends or foes? Find out as Iki's curiosity rarely holds her back. New creatures: The massive Mossback has appeared in the forest. Usually a timid and kind beast, but something seems to have stirred his emotions. Merchant: Slithering around the various regions of the forest we’ll sometimes run into our friendly slimy merchant, selling all kinds of goodies. Sewing lodge: By obtaining the necessary building materials, the sewing lodger can be built. Allowing Iki and Tika to be able to create new clothes - making them stronger but most importantly more fashionable! Cosmetics: The game currently features 10 cosmetic outfits for Iki and 10 outfits for Tika. Here’s a preview for some of Iki’s cosmetics:

  Hello everyone! As the “Steam Next Fest” wraps up, I wanted to take some time to say thanks to everyone who's tried out the game. Your feedback is always appreciated! As our game evolves with new and polished features, the current demo will soon not reflect the full experience we're crafting.   Hi! Some time has now passed since the demo was released. Thank you so much for trying out the game at this early stage, it has provided a lot of nice feedback and information! The demo will now get a small update: - Implemented jumping - Fixed UI bug in storage - Fixed UI bug in inventory - Fixed several visual bugs The rest of the game is progressing nicely. Can’t wait to show the world the full release of Children of the Forest!
