To celebrate the launch of version 1.0, the game is available with a 10% discount for the next 7 days. When Active Soccer first entered Early Access, I already felt it was a good game and that its simcade direction had a lot of potential. However, after playing it extensively, I also felt that the bar could be raised much higher. So I kept working on it. For version 1.0, a significant part of the code was rewritten and refined, particularly the match engine. The Active Soccer series was born in 2012 as an arcade game inspired by 16-bit classics like Kick Off 2 and Sensible Soccer. Many people appreciated the classic gameplay along with the career mode and dozens of tournaments that make the game unique.
