A tiny patch to stop the music when minimizing / pausing the game, which I forgot to do when releasing "minimize" functionality in 1.22.a version. No other changes.

Few smaller fixes and updates: 1. When playing on Earth maps (or other pre-made maps) on easier levels, AI players are selected from theocracies which are not very near you (to make sure that the game is indeed "easy"). This partially managed distribution of your enemies is less enforced on Medium and disappears on harder levels. Note: on random maps such managed distribution of the theocracies has been in place already, when you play "balanced random" starting locations 2. Pop-dialog now appears when you have enough Power for a dogma. You can turn this off in Setttings 3. Pressing "2" centers your map view on location of action suggested by Action Button (without executing it) 4. Fix of rare fatal error when unit building fort/shrine in certain circumstances 5. Ancient Civilizations scenario Finally releasing the first scenario: Ancient Civilizations. Civilizations of the Mediterranean and Near-Middle East / Mesopotamia, from the Bronze Age to Classical Antiquity - Carthage, Rome, Sparta, Hittites, Egypt, Babylon, Persia, Assyria. Each empire has different significant starting bonus and penalty, requiring implementation of different strategy. This is a conquest-oriented scenario: VPs for Dogmas and Sacred Mountains are decreased, victory can only be achieved by conquest of Holy Lands or Apocalypse. Holy Regions start with size 2 and their bonuses for Power, Knowledge and Gold generation are increased to 3x. Take your empire from the dawn of civilization and race towards Iron Age. What's new in version 1.10 Experience Armies gain experience points in battles and upon reaching necessary experience they get promoted. Veteran armies are stronger then New recruits. Veterans can get promoted to Fanatics, who are again bit stronger and radiate Power and Fanatics can get promoted to Elite units, which radiate more Power and have some Theocracy-specific bonuses. Alien invasion Alien invasion is now a real battle. When "Intergalactic Travel" knowledge is discovered, the Aliens will start to invade the planet by very strong units. In the previous versions the Alien invasion immediately ended the game. Now you have a chance to still fight for a victory for few more turns... The Alien invasion also dramatically increases Monster strength, so if you managed to save some Monster miracles for late stage of the game, the Monsters can help you delay the destruction by the Aliens.…

What's new in 1.03 Gameplay and rules: 1) New "Release the Kraken" option for Theological Councils (when Heretics appear). You can now either reject the proposal, or Release the Kraken, which will prevent your population from immediate conversion to the Heretics, but it will unleash Heretic monsters around the Region. As this option is available for AI players too, get ready for some roaming Heretic monsters! 2) The Theological Councils now can occur also in Pagan regions (until now they used to happen only in regions of "proper players"). Possibility to choose minimum turns between miracles for each new game you play (standard limit, double, triple) Changes in rules: 1. More forgiving finances: slightly cheaper early- and mid-game armies, Mathematics now provides Gold bonus, Gold yielding buildings (Market, Railroad, Airport) provide more Gold (their default Gold yield offsets their maintenance cost) 2. Strength of monsters (at their creation) increases each turn by 1. So if you create a monster in turn 20 on average it's strength will be 52, but if you create it in turn 50 it will be 82. This makes monsters more useful later in the game, when standard armies are more powerful. The strength of monsters does NOT change after they are created. Theocracy has been released on Steam! After years of hobby development at nights and during weekends, I am proud to see my game being available on Steam ːsteamhappyː This game is a one-man project, "indie to the extreme": hard coded by myself from scratch, without using any game development platform, and developed in my free time. I even did a lot of pixel-art and mixed the final sound effects :-) I hope you will have fun playing it and defeating the AI which I designed to challenge you.
