• Dead Pixels from 2012 gets a surprise update with Linux and Steam Deck support - 15 April 2025

  Developer CSR-Studios are currently working on Dead Pixels II but they decided to give the original Dead Pixels from 2012 a surprise upgrade. This comes with Native Linux support and they're hoping to see it Steam Deck Verified. • Dead Pixels Ver 1.4 - 14 April 2025

  A new update to Dead Pixels is making its way across the internet to everyone. The big changes are Moving to new frameworks (FNA and Facepunch.Steamworks). Native Linux build for Steamdeck and linux computers. Launcher removed with options instead in game. New look to in game menus (Can be turned off in the options). A few small bug fixes but most of the game is the way it always has been. Custom game mode added New Menus Custom Game Mode The custom game mode has a variety of new option for those that want a challenge or a more relaxed but long game. Steam Deck A lot of the changes have an effect on the SteamDeck. I've requested a review and hoping to get the game marked as SteamDeck Verified soon.   Dead Pixels is now available on Steam! A toxic waste spill finds its way into the water supply, causing the recently deceased to rise from their graves. Now it's up to you to blast your way through the hordes of undead if you're going to escape the city. On the way to your rescue, you'll search stores and houses for supplies, and trade with other survivors. With three game modes, hundreds of items, weapons and grenades, and a city that is never the same twice, there is always something new hiding round the corner in Dead Pixels.
