- Development Progress - December 2023 (Merry Christmas!) - 25 December 2023
I appreciate the trust of those who have purchased the Early Access version so far, it has been a very difficult year for me, in the coming weeks the project will be at a slower pace as I am prioritizing other work that is giving me more immediate financial return, as unfortunately Resultarias is not yet my main source of income. I ask for patience until I recover and can return to working on the project with more time. Here are the highlights of what I did in the last updates: Added icon that shows if you are trying to move the camera in a location where the camera is fixed. Fixed collision issue in some scenarios. - Update 0.8.232 - Fixes, improvements and a new item - 24 November 2023
Included new item. Included new NPCs. Fixes in some scenarios and some reworks incoming. Improved cat interaction. Improved UI overall look and performance. Included important feedback to the player when the camera is in fixed mode. Included a developer console. There is still a lot of work to do, all items are not complete and are still being implemented.

I changed the rendering while Utsuki in in the Dream World to a more stylized shading with some nice color banding, this reminds of an aesthetic of old games where the amount of colors was very limited. Old horror games had an special look because of this, cause shadows looked somehow “corrupted”, and then darker scenarios on Resultarias now looks more threatening. I started creating a Tutorial level but I am not satisfied with what I did so far, I will return to this level in the future when the game core mechanics are more complete. Unfortunately, Resultarias is not my main source of income, so I always have to work on it in my free time. Fixed duplicated names on credits screen. Included translation fixes (thanks to nonomnismoriar for the Polish, veridis quo for Turkish, Moonstorm Gaming for German). I am so happy to have people helping me in the game Discord server!

Main Updates Utsuki clothes colors and shader got reworked to better match her color pallet. Jumping now keeps momentum, better for exploration. Kitty can be grabbed now, not only cute but it can help navigation in dangerous and dark scenarios. Radio Item reworked to only turn on and off. The game propose to not have dialog and the radio had, so I remove the "Look through radio stations" system. Other improvements Removed all "invisible walls", now map limits are set in a more creative way. Nightmares can be completed. Falling from high heights in sand or snow doesn't kill Utsuki. Gnome Forest got included in the game, even though not complete, only a sneak peak. The Yellowrooms size got reduced and more content included to reduce time wandering arround. When taking too much time loading a map, a progress bar will be shown in the middle of the screen. Other improvements and small changes in origami scenario and yellow rooms.
