Hello! This will be the first of many, many announcement posts appearing over the course of development. For now, I just wanted to update you readers on the current situation of this project. The first quarter of 2023 - Roadmap: - Optimising the game to improve performance. Aiming for above 60fps on any graphics settings on average/common Desktops. This won't include max graphics settings though. - Adding an introductory sequence to the game, will be regarded as a tutorial. This will use simple animation at first but will be improved once I gain access to motion capture animation. - Properly add the first town you visit during the tutorial. - Add light scattering or fog for anything far away from the player's view. - Atmospheric sounds.
