- Update Notes for Nov 12, Part 2, v0.3.3 - 13 November 2024
This small update addresses a few outstanding bugs and includes a minor enhancement: League Editor: Fixed an issue where you were unable to add additional years to a player's contract. Coach Promotion: Resolved a problem where a coach's new position wasn't correctly reflected in their contract after being promoted to a different role. Personnel Packages: Corrected a flaw where the AI would include two duplicate offensive linemen in the "Field Goal Kick" formation on the Personnel Packages screen. Additionally, a small enhancement has been made to the contract negotiation dialogue for both players and coaches. There are now many more varied message options, so the dialogue will feel less repetitive.

A small update to resolve an issue reported by the community several days ago. When starting up a new career, under certain conditions if you abandoned the game early, it would inadvertently delete your saved games. We look forward to releasing a larger update soon - but needed to get this critical hotfix out there.

Teams are now far more likely to reward you with an extension if you perform well. - Fixed issues on the "Action Required" modal, where the modal would sometimes be empty, and not allow you to see the notification.

- Added a quality-of-life improvement, to help reduce "clickiness". When a table of players lets you filter by a specific position, the game will now remember your selection. For example, if you are looking at the list of Free Agents and you filter the list by WR, when you come back to this screen later the list will automatically be set to WR. Each screen remembers it's own value - it is not a single shared global value. At the end of each season, the remembered values are reset. The following screens will now remember the last selected position: -- the Draft screen -- the Free Agency screen -- the Scouting Combine screen -- the Available Free Agents screen -- the Draft Prospects screen - Fixed a bug on the tooltip for player injury icons. - Several users reported seeing "Action Required" modals pop up, and be either blank, or with erroneous information on them. Made some changes to work on preventing this. - On the Main Menu, prevent the "Continue Game" button from showing when there is no previous save game file to load. - When starting a new save, added slightly-improved UI handling. After typing in a save game name, you don't have to "click away" for the "Start New Game" button to activate anymore. It will also prevent you from using a save game name that already exists. - When picking a team at start of career, clicking team logos was causing issues. Prevented the clicks from doing anything.

- Working on resolving the crashing/hanging issue some players are having when starting a new save game. Made changes to address the cause of the crash. Added more logging for additional research and/or confirmation on the issue.

- Working on resolving issues on the "Start New Game" screen. Some players have reported getting stuck in a bad state when starting a new game. Causing the save game file to not be created successfully. - Adjusted the AI's draft logic so that certain positions are valued differently in the early stages of the draft. This will help add more realism to the results of drafts.

Hello, and welcome, to the Football Legend June 2023 Dev Update! It has been 4 long months since our last post, and I am excited to share everything we've been up to. We've been hard at work preparing the game for the upcoming Early Access release. The original goal was to have an Early Access version available by the end of 2023.
