  • 1st Anniversary Documentary about the development of Backrooms Break - 26 April 2025

Hey everyone! Ever wanted a peek behind the curtain to see what really went into making Backrooms Break? I've just released a very personal and detailed devlog covering the entire wild two-year solo development journey – from the very first concept back in 2022, through all the challenges, obstacles (including pneumonia!), unexpected successes, costly mistakes, right up to launch and hitting an incredible sales! It's an honest look at the grind, and the joy, behind the game you (hopefully!) enjoy playing. Warning: Video is in my native Czech, but I wrote English subtitles for it, you have to turn them on explicitly on YouTube

  • Update v1.1 - ENDLESS MODE - 15 June 2024

Added ENDLESS mode where you can spawn anything you want This mode has a huge Backrooms map that has no enemies. You can SPAWN anything with buttons 4-9 (instructions are on-screen, includes explosives, ammo..) You can SPAWN Enemy waves and fight them off. Each wave has incremental enemies. You can start a fully procedural generator (experimental, exercise caution) Switched Garage and Poolrooms levels order due to difficulty (people struggled in Garage, now it comes later) This is a big change that changes the flow of the game: The Garage level is now moved almost to the end. The Poolrooms comes right after Backrooms. If you were in the middle of the game on the old version, I unlocked every level for you. Made Poolrooms monster weaker Removed the gameplay feature of broken flickering lights Headlamp turned off when entering elevator and sitting down at PC Fixed: If you press "f" and ac…
