This one is a minor update mainly to fix some issues with text-to-speech on Mac and Linux, and also to address some feedback I got about text-to-speech generally. But I also added a wild badger to the game that I’m happy about, and that makes for a cooler update name, so this is the Wild Badger Update! Several users on the AudioGames forum requested a text-to-speech feature that turned out to be pretty easy to implement, so I added it, and Michael Taboada reported a Linux issue in the comments on itch.io that has been fixed now. So here's a tiny update with those! Enjoy. 😊 Full list of changes for version 0.0.18: Added "Copy Speech to Clipboard" setting for Windows only. This allows players to use some screen readers (such as NVDA) with the graphical version of Upheaval. See the accessibility page for more information. Fixed issue on Linux that was causing the game to ask for elevated privileges. 😱 Thank you! ❤️

In this update, you can play Upheaval using text-to-speech, use keyboard or controller input, and pursue any of the adventure hooks in the new random village events. - Goblin Key Bugfix - 18 April 2024
A few players reported sometimes getting stuck in the goblin caves with no way out. 😱 This update fixes the issue they were running into! Changes for version 0.0.16: Now, if the game says you STOLE a goblin key, you will always HAVE a goblin key in your inventory, no matter what. Thank you! ❤️
