  After much feedback on my original demo, I’ve listened and made significant changes. Prepare to experience a host of exciting updates and enhancements that elevate the demo to new heights. I hope this massive update reflects my commitment to the project. I am dedicated to listening to my fans and showing my unwavering effort to bring this game to life. COUNTER-MINI GAME A new counter mini-game has been added to combat. When an enemy misses an attack, R3-M1 can now counter with a light attack if a skill check is met through this exciting new mini-game, dealing additional damage. NEW EVENT & ENEMY Discover the new bile nest that transforms rat corpses into vile, dark creatures corrupted by the strange black substance found around the factory. Combat is introduced much sooner, as R3-M1 must eradicate these abominations. Destroy the nest to eliminate this new threat, or face these grotesque…

  Johneric, the solo game developer of bio-Synthetica, will be playing the demo live on Steam's Next Fest along with composer/graphic designer Stephanie, his best friend and right-hand woman. We welcome you to come on this adventure with us and we'll be chatting (and probably making bad jokes) all night long! Come join us at 7pm (19:00) EST! Take on the role of R3-M1, a newly activated robot, as they venture through a dark, dystopian world in search of answers! The clues lay buried within dust and ash, data files and audio clips left behind by decaying corpses from a not-so-distant past.

  The updated demo is finally here with a ton of new features! SHORTER DEMO: After much feedback and consideration, the bio-Synthetica demo has been shortened: Areas locked off until later Safes and code searching removed TARANA & Sagrim taken out of the demo Several maps and rooms removed for the sake of time What was taken out of the demo will return in the full game, but now new players who play won't have to spend hours grinding away to see everything my game has to offer. • Official Demo Release - 6 February 2023

  I am incredibly excited to announce that the bio-Synthetica demo is officially LIVE on Steam! I've been working on this project for over a year, and it's my first commercial game on this platform. The demo features the first dungeon, The Dilapidated Factory, and introduces you to R3-M1, our robot protagonist! You can expect the following in the demo: Exploration, scavenging, crafting, and more Combat featuring 6 unique enemies & 1 boss 1 companion, the ARENA-bot, & 1 add-add 8 different skills to purchase, each with 3-5 upgrades Fully voice-acted dialogue and cutscenes There's a cat! The demo takes roughly 2-4 hours, depending on how thorough you are and if you grind a bit to obtain all skills and upgrades.
