• Demo Update v0.8.1 - 3 January 2024

  - Saving system rewritten from the ground up. This unfortunately means the previous progress won't be carried over. - Settings page updated. More graphics settings included to accomodate wider range of hardware if performance is an issue. - Camera controller completelly rewritten from the ground up and input system updated. - A lot of the codebase has been rewritten in the background, which for the end-user should function as before. This is just in preparation for the full version release.

  New power up: +50 coins when a tile is explored. New tower: Tar Tar tower has low AoE damage, but two effects which slow down enemies and add fire weakness to them. Sound system improvements * Sounds added to menu buttons. * Fixed cases where sounds would stop playing when many of them were triggered consecutivelly. Game balance adjustments First 10 tile rounds rebalanced. Some enemies have less health and give more rewards.

  New features and improvements Added Wood Tower which shoots Acorns. Added "Sidekick" power up to meta progression. When you have a tower selected, you can now deselect it with both Left Click and Right Click, whereas previously it was only possible with Right Click. Increased the font size on various menus to make the text legible for more screen sizes. Added Critical Hit indicator, which shows for a fraction of a second when critical hit happens.   New features/content Added Poison Tower which does area damage around the tower. It also applies poison effect on enemies. Meta Progression system implemented with currently 2 power ups (more to come in future updates). Meta coins will be rewarded at the end of each run. Statistics added at the end of a run show tower and effect damage. This applies to per-tower effects and global effects that do damage too. +1 new Upgrade added - Crowbar. Bug fixes/small changes - Blood Scent upgrade's critical chance bonus was previously ignored. This is taken into account now. - Wind Tower renamed to Ice Tower - Add mouse controls visuals in Esc menu - Some spelling mistakes in scroll descriptions
