IsoChess is a simple chess game for new and experienced players alike. Practice against a computer! IsoChess allows you to play against an assortment of community developed chess engines. Stockfish, a popular open source chess AI, has been included out of the box. Stockfish is both a very strong player, as well as capable at playing at lower difficulties. Want more? Most existing chess engines are compatible (via the Universal Chess Interface). Simply find a compatible engine, and place it under the ai/ directory of the game. When creating an AI game, you can select from any of your installed engines. Great for practicing and developing your chess skills. Play against anyone! The free / demo version of IsoChess allows joining of multiplayer games. With a paid copy of the game, you can create games to play against other owners of the game, or anyone else on Steam!
