- MASSIVE Zombies Update: Prison Map + New Zombies + BOSS BATTLE - Update: v0.23 - 16 August 2024
This update brings many new additions to the Hood Zombies gamemode along with additions to the multiplayer gamemode. Hood Zombies New Map: Detroit Penitentiary: This map is a massive prison featuring 4 unique cell blocks and a large area to roam and train. This map is nearly 4x the size as the abandoned school map and features a lot to explore New Zombie Variants: Hood Zombies difficulty is now increased, with new zombie variants spawning after higher rounds. Now there are red "fent" zombies that are faster and stronger and even higher level "fire" zombies that spawn after round 15. 100+ New Zombies Voicelines: These voicelines will spawn for player actions and round endings, giving hints to find the secret of the map Fent Dragon Boss Battle: Find all of the fent pickups in the prison map to enable the fent reactor, a device that spawns the fent dragon. - Update 0.22 - Login Issue Addressed + Fixes + New Content Coming Soon - 26 June 2024
This patch update addresses the login problems that have been highlighted on by recent reviews and posts regarding the login system Updated Login This new update allows you to pick between local steam login, and hood warfare account login upon first opening Hood Warfare. New users can log in with the local steam method to avoid having to create an account. Old users can log in via the Hood Warfare account method and keep all of their progress. Both login methods feature leveling and stats for kills, death, KDR. Users can switch between the Hood Warfare account and Local Steam profile account on the main menu via the logout button. Prior to this update this was only able to be done by changing the version to the "nologin" version in steam settings, but now the local login works without needing to do this. - Hood Zombies Out Now - 26 November 2023
Hood Warfare Zombies is now live! This update brings a new mode to hood warfare featuring zombies. Fight in a team up to 4 of bloods, crips, or vatos to fight the horde. Players must kill zombies to get points, and with points they can purchace different areas and weapons. The mode takes place in a modified version of the abandoned school map. (there might be a easter egg). Along with this update various quality of life changes were added along with 2 new guns: AK74u Lazer, a skin for the AK74u, along with a blunt healing item that gives you hp when you hit it. An upcoming zombies mode is coming soon to hood warfare. This mode will combine the forces of the bloods, crips, and vatos fighting to survive a zombie outbreak in the hood of detroit. Unlocked at 6 kills, you can now call in a drive-by and get some ground support blasting the opps! - New Mode & Quality of life v0.18 - 25 June 2023
This update brings a new mode and various quality of life and bug fixes to Hood Warfare New Mode: Gun Game You spawn with a pistol. Every 3 kills you progress to the next weapon until the final weapon, the shank. The first to get a kill with the shank wins. New Level Cap: Level 30 Level 30 is now the max level in the game. There are no unlockables to this level yet but they will be coming soon. Full Controller Support (somewhat). The game is now completely navigable with a controller with the exception of the login screen. Which will require a keyboard to input username and password. A virtual cursor can be controlled with the left stick. Various Bug Fixes Fixed Vatos spawning in the Crips spawn Slightly Nerfed Grenade Made glock semi auto again. - Update v0.16 - The Project Baby Update Part I - 26 March 2023
The Project Baby Update Part I has arrived and it brings multiple new features to Hood Warfare New Map: Southside. This map takes place in the southside of Detroit in a hood neighborhood. Play all main gamemodes on this map. Controller Support Added Controller support has finally been added. Find the controls in the options menu. Menu navigation has not yet been implemented. But the game is now playable using a controller. New Melee Weapon: Shank The shank offers quick melee attacks at close range. This weapon offers increased attack speed over the bat at the cost of range Other Adjustments Buffs and nerfs to various weapons. UZI got a slight buff. Glock can now be fired full auto. Other small quality of life improvements and adjustments to weapons. Running is now toggled with shift or LS so you dont need to constantly hold it down to run. Loading screen changed. Thank you all for helping the game grow on tiktok. We reached over a million views within a day and were happy to see all the new players. With that, there's been a influx of players so a few server issues were bound to pop up but they should be resolved now. Make sure to downloaded the latest version of Hood Warfare as of 4:20PM EST. - Update v0.014 - 2 New Maps - Detroit Mall and DowntownDetroit_v2 - 23 February 2023
This update brings 2 brand new maps to the game, with the game now having a total of 8 maps. Detroit Mall, a burning mall in Detroit. This map features a burning indoor mall with shops and a movie theater. Don't get too close to the fire! This map can be played on all base modes. Downtown Detroit v2: This is a map exclusive to the round based game mode, Gang Warfare. This map is similar to the original downtown Detroit but features more detail and combat opportunity with many pathways and alleyways. It's also slightly smaller.
- Weapon Progression Update - v0.013 - 17 February 2023
This follow up update to the last patch brings many beautiful skins to all weapons in the game. These skins are not micro transactions and all are unlocked through play. All skins unlock after level 10 to max level 20, so some grinding may be needed to unlock these weapons. Grind some camos and see the new skins in game for yourself!

Update v0.012 has just released and there is new content to be found in this update. Patch Notes: Brand new map for all base game modes: Chinatown - A map in the Detroit slums of the Chinatown district. Explore small corridors and stairwells in this close quarters map. New weapon: AK74-U (also known as the sawed off AK). Not to be confused with the AK, the AK74-U offers high damage and high fire rate at the cost of decreased range. It can be unlocked at level 8. The AK74 shares many similarities to the UZI. Progression has been updated and players can now reach level 20, though it will require a lot of grinding. Currently, these new levels don't offer any unlocks however they will soon with new weapons and unlockable cosmetics.
