- Update #15: Staff menu overhaul - 12 August 2026
Hello everyone! Here is another monthly update for Blacksmith Master which I hope you'll love :) It's one of the highest requested features - improved staff menu which enables list view and multi-edit.When you activate list view, you're able to see much more detailed info regarding your workers including their traits, salary and most importantly, specific settings for their duty. For blacksmiths that is crafting preference, for assistants it's resource to focus on, and best thing is that you can edit that setting without opening staff info popup.Besides editing info for individual workers, you are also able to select multiple workers using a checkbox on the left side and then edit them all at once.All this should reduce the amount of clicking in the staff menu by a huge margin.Besides list view, I've also improved tutorial message scaling so it fits better on more screens, and I've fixe…

- Update #12: Performance Improvements - 8 December 2025
Hello everyone! Over the past two weeks, I’ve been doing intensive performance optimizations, and I’m happy to say I've roughly doubled the game's FPS, reduced build size 2 times (from 2Gb to 1.1Gb) and reduced VRAM usage by roughly 50% (from 3.75Gb to 1.9Gb). In some late-game scenes with complex workshops, performance went from about 25–30 FPS to around 50–60 FPS. In one of my test shots, FPS went from 22 to 37. These numbers depend on the scene and settings of course, but the gains have been consistent. I’ve been experimenting with lighting and shadows a lot, which is why you may notice some small visual differences if you look very closely. I really pushed a few systems to get these results, so please be patient if you notice any visual bugs. I’ll be ready to improve this system if issues appear.
