Hello gamers! We added Spanish in our languages! You can select them in the options from the main menu before starting the chapter. We also fixed a bug where the difficulty was returning to normal if you were restarting the level even if you selected "easy" or "hard" mode. - DIFFICULTIES ADDED! (Future Updates) - 1 September 2024
I'm happy to announce that now INSOMNIA can be played with different difficulties! I've received feedback and realized that not every player is enjoying the current difficulty of the game so I've added an Easy mode for people who want to play it without ending up in frustration and a Hard mode for those who are feeling bold enough to face a challenge (Normal mode is the standard mode that has been played till now). Difficulties are changeable in the main menu options. Mind that this difficulty will affect custom hour too so remember to change it before starting a custom hour. Regarding the future, I will add German, Spanish, Russian and Ukranian languages to INSOMNIA, and last but not least I will finally add achievements! I really wanna thank everyone for their support. Hello ladies and gents! I added the first language on INSOMNIA which is Italian! You can choose your language in the Main Menu Options. Also I fixed some bugs: -Reduced time to pass to the next level in Hour 5-1 -Adjusted the location of a mesh in Hour 4-1 -The "Darkness" nightmare (The one spawning during blackouts) spawns correctly in Hour 6 without trespassing the ground. I'm thrilled to announce that INSOMNIA is finally released and available for players worldwide! As my first solo-developed game, this moment is indescribable. I have worked on this game for two years straight, facing many challenges along the way. Though I worked alone until the end, I was fortunate to meet people who offered invaluable tips on how to improve the game and helped me online in general. Hello gamers! I'm proud to announce that INSOMNIA's full game will be released in June 2024! Has been a long journey for me as a solo-dev, I've encountered many problems and obstacles along my development but I'm super happy that I'll be finally able to release my first video game ever made. Your feedback has been very helpful and I'm working on making the game more fluid in terms of notes, tutorials, and other things. The game for now, will be english only. But I'm planning to add more languages for the game after release. This includes Italian, Spanish, Ukranian, Russian and others. I will (of course) also implement a custom mode where you can make your customized level and suffer your own nightmare! (after beating the main game of course). Hello players! Thank you for playing INSOMNIA! I received many feedback and I decided to fix the problems that people hated the most. -Prologue changes: I changed the notes making them shorter, converted one of the notes into thought and got rid of that font that you hated forever! (After all, no one wants to stay reading while playing a demo isn't it?) -Also, we increased the Music Box spawn timer in Hour 2! Now the doll will be less oppressive and the music box won't trigger together with the basement blackout! Thanks for your cooperation and keep sending feedback! Feedback is so important in every environment of life and without it, we would never figure out where we're doing wrong. Thanks for your feedback we understood that many players are having a hard time figuring out the goal of the game or how to survive the night in INSOMNIA. That's why we released a new patch that will help with this issue. The patch will include: -Pop-up message telling the fundamental controls of the game.
