• Closing Game Server - 19 January 2024

  It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of the game server as of February 17th 2024. The reason is purely financial as the game has not performed as well as was necessary to allow it to remain up and playable beyond our initial budgeted period. We do appreciate all those that gave it a shot, but recognize we may have failed in our development of the game and promotion. Thanks for giving us a shot!

• Moody Monsters - 6 August 2023

  We've just added monster moods to the game (v2.799)! Previously a monster could be either passive, neutral or aggressive. While these three states still exist, the following additional moods have been added. Angry - Equivalent of Aggressive and likely to attack on sight. Neutral - Equivalent of Neutral. Screaming - More likely to flee if the fight isn't going it's way. Drooling - Monster is hungry and has 50% health. Exercising - Monster is off on an adventure and will roam the map. Smirk - Monster has a 25% damage boost. Crying - Monster has 50% energy. Sleepy - Monster has 50% defense. Laughing - Monster refuses to come engage in melee combat. Additional moods may be added over time, these won't always appear but you'll start to notice the emote icon above the monsters name periodically as these different moods are activated.

• The Ratastrophe is upon us! - 31 July 2023

  Welcome to the Ratastrophe! The Outskirts Sewage Plant has come back online, causing the flow of sweet life sustaining nectar the Neerdowells relied on for their extensive cheese farming empire to cease flowing. Journey to the Outskirts Plant, talk to Supervisor Motts and begin your trek into the underbelly of Outskirts. Lots of TOUGH monsters to kill including Neerdowells and Slitherer's, a dozen new quests, new quest rewards including the Pack Rat pet (can hold additional items for you). Furthermore we've added a host of new features, bug fixes and more and v2.7 is now live.

• Updates and Improvments as v2.005 Released - 9 July 2023

  In the past 9 days we've made a heck of a lot of improvements, changes and tweaks. Our favorite changes include: Added a new tab to the E screen to show various misc. stats like total monster kills, items crafted and quests completed. A number of performance enhancements. We understand a portion of players had issues playing so we've made enhancements to hopefully get over that hump! Added a DESTROY CORPSE button to the loot window, to destroy a corpse without requiring you to loot anything. Added a further 23 Steam Achievements. Added a new animation effect when running (shift key). Ventures can now set a special Venture Banner Icon that members can display. This is just a small segment of all of the changes that have been made. We're continuing to improve the game on a daily basis, add new features and generally work towards awesomeness! Stop in and stay a while!

• Welcome to Solace - 1 July 2023

  We are super stoked to announce that Infinitum Vitas has now gone live simultaneously on Steam and our website. Any magical barriers preventing you from playing, except for real life have been lifted! We look forward to seeing you (multiplayer) in game or not seeing you (singleplayer) in game. We'll still be thinking of you regardless! So pour yourself a nice glass of milk, eat some cookies and play a while!
