- White screen fix - 12 July 2026
Fixed an error that caused the brain area to be stuck on a white screen during the day. From all I can tell, your saves will now be working if you were stuck on this screen. Let me know if you run into any problems with this solution, and sorry for the wait.
- Summer '26 Update - 26 June 2026
Keep your stuff! After getting the bad ending, you can now continue from the start and keep your collectibles. You might also get a new ability that someone wanted to see in the game...More lenient shootingIn the final quarter of the game, most destructable objects can now be hit by all projectiles. In hindsight, I found it annoying that the game was so specific about which weapon you use, and it seems like I was not the only one.New music triggering systemMusic loops are now being triggered differently. Some people had issues with the music stopping, which I have never been able to recreate - this new system prevents certain edge cases that might have been the cause. Let me know how this works for you!Small additionsOverall performance improvementsMade some changes to the final robot fight to make it clearer what's going onGave a bit more guidance in the office gym and the brain drillTh…

- Fragrance Point is available for macOS - 13 February 2025
Fragrance Point is now available for macOS. I made some performance improvements in the process that are also an update for the Windows version. I was able to test the game on a friend's MacBook, and entered its technical specifications as minimum requirements. If the game happens to be working on a slower machine, let me know.
- Patches January 28 - 28 January 2025
- Fixed a bug that caused the music to break when returning to the gym under specific circumstances - Fixed a bug regarding FPS capping - Took the randomness out of the final scene for the good ending - Apparently, the steam integration can crash on Void Linux. Now, this won't affect the rest of the game. A proper solution is in the works, but I want to test it on a Linux machine before uploading. For now, this should fix the white screen at the party.
- Updates and Patches January 22 - 22 January 2025
- Achievements still didn't trigger for some people so I rewrote the script. I hope you get your achievements now. - Changed the full screen mode beause the aspect ratio was wrong on some high resolution screens - Fixed an oversight that could cause the button in the final room not to spawn under specific conditions - Fixed a bug that could turn the toy train indestructible - Changed the collision detection of the shells
- Updates and Patches January 20 - 20 January 2025
- The game now saves achievements internally in case you are not connected to Steamworks. You will get them once you reconnect. - The main menu shows the current patch number and whether you are connected to Steamworks - You can now limit the frame rate - Smoothed out movement in cyberspace - After defeating the brain drill, the brain boring device does not drive anymore and the path back to the drill is buried - Fixed one collision in the tutorial area Thank you to everyone for playing and sharing your findings!
- A couple of fixes - 18 January 2025
Since the release, I fixed a couple of issues bit by bit: - The brain drill crashed if you solved it in a specific order - Using items could lock up if you used different items in quick succession - Achievements did not unlock Thank you to everyone who got in touch!
- Performance improvements with the brain drill - 17 January 2025
Due to a physics bottleneck, the brain drill caused the game to crash on some computers. I spread the events out and the performance now looks well-balanced on my end. If the issue persists, please let me know. Sorry for the inconvenience. Also, In the same scene, I made one event optional because it is not marked on the map. Thank you for your posts in the discussions. It's great to see people share their thoughts and it helps me catch issues quickly.
- Camera Update - 13 February 2024
I made some adjustments based on your feedback: You can now select between two camera modes in the options: "Follow loosely" and "Locked to player", which is a more traditional camera and enabled by default. The camera sensitivity option has been adjusted to take high screen resolutions into account. The speed of the item wheel is now directly tied to the camera speed. Jumping has been slightly tweaked and debugged. I found some boring bugs along the way that are now fixed as well. It's been great to see people play the demo, thank y'all so much! Let me know how these changes work out for you.
- My eyes hurt from the extreme 90s CGI style of this Next Fest demo, and I couldn't be happier - 9 February 2024
Ah sure I've enjoyed the nostalgic resurgence of Quake/PlayStation-grade 3D art in video games, but I am fully blown away by indie game Fragrance Point looking like the truest classic 3D computer graphics: the shiny pre-rendered CGI from TV show transition cards, adverts for double-disc dance music compilations, and Windows Media Player skins. My eyes are still reeling from the gloss and glitz and pulsating lights of the Steam Next Fest demo, and I welcome this pain. Grab the demo now and set out to explore a space station as a bopping security bot with snazzy boots and endless projectile lipstick. Read more
