Titan: The Ascension is a colony management and survival strategy game set on Saturn’s moon Titan. You take control of a corporation tasked with establishing humanity’s first large-scale off-world colony while Earth is collapsing due to extreme water shortages caused by climate change and global conflict. Your mission is not only survival on Titan, but also supporting Earth’s remaining population through resource extraction and interplanetary trade. Earth–Titan Resource Network On Titan, you will explore the frozen northern regions of the moon to locate and extract valuable ice deposits hidden beneath the surface. These resources are mined, processed, and converted into usable water, forming the core of a critical supply chain that connects Titan to Earth. The extracted water is transported across space to support Earth’s collapsing infrastructure and remaining population, where resource scarcity has reached extreme levels. In exchange, Earth provides financial credits, raw materials, and advanced technological components that are essential for expanding, upgrading, and maintaining your growing colony on Titan. This interplanetary exchange system becomes the foundation of your progression, driving both survival and expansion as you balance extraction efficiency with colony development needs. Colony Infrastructure and Industrial Expansion You will design and expand a large industrial network across the frozen surface of Titan, building the systems needed to support a growing off-world operation. This includes managing production chains, establishing efficient logistics routes, and connecting multiple facilities into a functioning economy. Before permanent human habitation is possible, you must construct essential resource processing systems, stabilize supply lines, and prepare the groundwork for future dome-based colonist housing.
