• Early Access and OST - 18 March 2023

  NEWS! Scroll Scramble will be available under Early Access very soon. I'm literally waiting for Steam to approve my initial build... though I also need to make sure there are clear and easy ways to leave feedback, since that is one of the main reasons for Early Access. ALSO The OST is now a thing. You can find the page for it over here! FINALLY The runes (which were previously just a random CC0 font I found) have been redesigned in glorious pixel art style.

• Development Update - 9 March 2023

  Just a little not-quite-weekly-update. The design of the ghostie has been reworked. I've also upgraded the controller status of the game from partial controller support to full controller support. When I initially setup the page I wasn't sure if full controller support was feasible in the timeframes I had in mind, but having sat down and started working on the menus, I'm happy to make that commitment. Here's a look at the new ghostie. In other news, after speaking to devs with experience, I've decided that the game will be available in Early Access for a short time. This is partially to get real feedback from you amazing people, but also to have the game available sooner than would have been possible without some Early Access. • Menus and Character Sprites - 1 March 2023

  So, for those of you who have stumbled across this game and don't know its history (thank you, by the way), Scroll Scramble is the winner of Pirate Software's Jan 2023 Game Jam. Essentially, the game is built and ready to go (you can find and play it in its game jam state here), it just needs cleaning up and some more content adding to it before I feel comfortable releasing it. With that in mind, progress has been pretty swift, and I thought I'd share a couple of little update gifs! The main thing that needed work from a visual standpoint was the UI. As anyone who has entered a game jam will know, UIs and menus often get the short end of the stick in these situations. So, it was particularly important to me to fix that before the game comes out.
