• Patch 1.31 - Minor Changes - 26 December 2023

  Following the recent discord event and activity (Thanks again!) we have made a few minor changes, firstly we have added one new hat! (There is also a pirate hat wearing variant however the pirate hat is still only part of the support pack). We've also bumped the player limit back up from 10 to its original 30 we will be keeping track of whether or not this causes any issues. While we can't give a definitive timeframe, there will be another update in the future, thanks for playing! • Patch 1.3! Bug Fixes and Spectator Mode! - 15 June 2023

  Following the last update here is the spectating update! There are also various smaller fixes that have gone in this update. We also intend to look into tweaking the balancing for the bomb gamemode following user feedback however I'm afraid this will have to come in a future update! Here are a full list of changes: Changes/Fixes: Added the ability to spectate for new gamemodes when you are out of a round, prompt has been added in game for this (Attack will cycle through players) Sound effects should no longer "stack" as badly in game when you are tabbed out and then play all at once when you tab back in. Shiney Scramble Gamemode item now has a marker when the item initially spawns instead of having to be found first.   Thanks for your continued support and feedback, we are continuing to work on the game adding new game modes as well as tweaking and fixing bugs! In this update there are 2 new gamemodes and a new hat for everyone! Note: Currently when you are out of one of the new gamemodes you are unable to spectate, we will be addressing this in a future update. Having said that here are the full patch notes for 1.29: Changes Smoothed values for stamina bar on clients where the update interval changes caused this to jitter.   Once again thanks for all the constructive feedback we've had so far! Following this we have made some quality of life changes for the UI in terms of joining public servers and inviting friends. We are looking into fixing other issues as well as planning some larger updates so stay tuned! Full list of changes below. Changes: Ping is now shown on servers in the server browser Ping is now shown in game both in the bottom right corner for each player and in the pause menu next to each players name plate Accepting invites from steam without having the game open will now correctly join you to that game once you have entered your birds name You can now access steams invite menu via the green pause menu button "+ Friends" next to the Players section.

  Thanks for all the feedback and reviews so far! We are diligently keeping track of any feedback and experiences people are having while playing Pigeon Protocol, and will be releasing several updates to improve stability and refine the game further so if you have any thoughts please feel free to share them with us! We have decided to change the max players per server from 30 to 10 for stability reasons; we are looking into solutions to increase this number but for now we see this as the best action to avoid connection issues. Having said that here is the complete list of changes and fixes: Changes: Changed max players from 30 to 10 for stability reasons Bird naming Adjustments Fixes: Poop projectiles now move for clients as well as server where they didn't before Poop sounds should now be stopped for clients when projectiles dissapear
