• Polish update - 2 November 2024

  A new demo update to help with a smoother player experience. The changes are below. Demon weaponry now has visually different bullets. Buttons make a satisfying sound when clicked. Some of the ability visuals have been updated. Modified the UI a bit to be more straightforward. Added a bug report onto the main menu in case you run into a problem in the game. Added several more sfx throughout the game. Some more changes in the future will be several more sfx and a preview of the different abilities that can be unlocked in game. Enjoy playing!

• Occult Story Update - 9 September 2024

  Major story update! Now see what it is that is trying to defeat the girls. Who they are and what their motives may be are still shrouded in mystery, but now you know a bit more. I wanted to help set the tone of the story more (occult danger), and hopefully this cutscene will do just that. Along with the new cutscene, there were some minor fixes and updates. That is mostly it for the demo. I will occasionally add a bit more polish, but the rest of development time is going towards the game. Right now the main focus is on new abilities, levels, and cutscenes. Keep an eye out in the future for a call for testers and check the newsletter for more in-depth updates. Josh Soda Cat Studio

• Chinese Update Live! - 26 July 2024

  Salutations! The Chinese language update has arrived. Now you can play the game in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and English. This includes all text and most images. There are still and small number of images that were not included in this update but will be in the future. These images should have no impact on playing the game. There were also a few minor UI changes made, as well as a surprise for returning players. Make sure to stay on your toes! Future Updates: A large content addition is planned soon to add more to the story in the demo. This will help set the theme and tone a bit more. Some small animation fixes are planned for later. More UI updates. Japanese language option. After that, the demo may go through a few more combat balance patches depending on player feedback. There is a form at the end of the demo that players can fill out to let me know! Have fun playing!

• Combat Rework Patch - 8 June 2024

  After playtesting and getting feedback, there are some major combat changes now. They are listed below: Enemies deal less damage. No longer will a girl die in one shot. Distance affects attack bonus. This differs for each gun but generally the closer the better. More enemies! Even though they can't kill a girl in one shot, there are now more of them. Cover gives better bonuses now. A surprise for players that wait too long. Some minor changes are: Directions explain distance. A few sound effects. A few font changes. The Chinese and Japanese localizations are still in progress.

• Demo Update 1 - 28 May 2024

  I have gotten some excellent feedback for the demo, and with that have made a few changes listed below. Door indicator: There is now an image that shows when you mouse over a door to show that it can be opened. Font corrections: Some of the fonts were mismatched. UI adjustments: Putting UI in the appropriate position. Notebook Cover: Made the notebook directions have a proper background. Clarification about notebook use and abilities: There was some confusion with this part of the game so I added more directions and an "Are you sure?" box if you don't use all the notes. Final door bug fix: There was a problem with the final room if both doors were opened. Fixed now. Slight level layout changes: A few cover positions were rearranged. • Spring 2024 Update - 6 May 2024

  Hi, all! I realize I haven't been updating people here on Steam so let me fix that. The demo is basically ready to play. I just need to fix a few animation bugs and add some of the new music. I added a new pause menu and a secret to the demo level which you can see on the pause menu below. Where's the secret in the level? What is it? You can find it for yourself soon! I also updated the GUI font to be more appealing. The default was very bland as many people pointed out so I used a new one that's closer to a school feeling. You can see it on the screenshots below. Expect the demo to either be out this week or next week. Also, we will hopefully be participating in several online conventions and festivals this summer.
