  Hi everyone!It's been almost a year since my last steam update I just wanted to update everyone on the current state of Alpine Lake.Over the last year I've been working really hard to add content to the game way beyond what was seen in the demo, such as:A full story narrativeover 170 hand crafted decorationsover 70 building materials to customize your innsnew areas with unique resources to collect and animals to photographcompletely redesigned build mode so it's all in one menuimproved interactions between you and your guestsso many lil improvements and additions I can't even list them allIf all goes according to plan there will soon be an updated demo (still limited to a few in game days) in addition to joining June's Steam Next Fest!Cheers to 2026 being a good year for all :)-Andrew

  Happy June!I just wanted to drop a quick update on Alpine Lake progress this year! There are so many fun additions to the game that I'm very excited to share. Steady progress is being made every day and your patience for the game is much appreciated!SkiingDid you know that near town is actually an old ski resort that needs your help? After a few simple repairs you'll be able to access this new unique skiing mini-game!Alpine Regional TrailIn the demo there were about 10 animals you could photograph. The amount of animals has increased to 40! Depending on the season, the weather, and where you are, certain animals will make an appearance. Capturing their photos will be very important for the future of the forest!In addition to the animals, many foraged resources were added to make unique meals and drinks for your guests!Currently work is being done to expand to the town to allow guests to…

• The Demo Is Here! - 29 August 2024

  I'm very thankful for everyone who's experienced the Alpine Lake Demo! Almost 1000 of you have played and I've been listening to all the feedback I've come across! Here are some updates to the demo. Stamina Usage: The stamina system has been rebalanced to provide a less punishing experience. No longer will stamina be used when you miss a tree with your axe, or a stone with your pick axe. (swinging the machete will still consume stamina every time regardless) Pause Menu Map: The map in the pause menu has been updated to indicate your location. This should be help you understand where you are. Future improvements will come including merchant hours, and NPC locations. Photography: The deer and snake are now photographable! Sorry for making them literally impossible :D Bug Fixes & UI Improvements: Various bugs have been squashed, and the UI has received some polish for a smoother experience…
