About this game
What makes Wisp Catacombs a unique rogue-like game? The enemy diversity. (Seeing a dancing cactus, a shotgun urchin, and a crystal golem is rare sight!) Fast movement. (Invincible dashes, quick turns, and a standstill healing system require skill.) The choices the player(s) can make. (Will the players trust or confront their creator?) The player(s) can start as one class and finish with completely different abilities. Local 4-player mode. (You can play up to 4 players without any compromises - the game will adapt its difficulty scaling (loot prices, enemy damage/health, rewards, etc.) depending on the player count.) Brutal difficulty. (Don’t take this part lightly.) What are the main gameplay Features? Players can use their dash to dodge projectiles. It’s fast and effective. No ammo: when you attack, you lose energy! The energy is also your health! Swappable abilities: 2 attack types (simple and area), an ultimate attack, and a passive stat. Items which upgrade your base stats. A battery can gives you more energy (health), a vacuum can upgrade your regeneration, etc. 6 power types, 100+ total powers! Experiment with each attack! The player(s) can explore 6 worlds that each have their enemies, bosses and unique twists. Explore the different features of the worlds... With 6 worlds, you will have to adapt to different combat styles and strategies. You will survive against fire snakes, big scarabs, bats, creepy spiders and ... Urchins? Each enemy has their own little twist. Some enemies will interact with each other to create new attacks. You’ve got to create a strategy unique to specific enemy groupings. And each enemy will have its own story that you will need to find! Play up to 4 players against the monsters! Wisp Catacombs can be played up to 4 players. Level configurations are randomly generated, having multiple different room types such as shops, chests, puzzles and enemies. Explore diverse worlds and face hardcore challenges with the scalable difficulty system. Oh, don't worry, it won’t be too difficult!
