  We are excited to share the details about the upcoming major demo version update with you. So let's begin. New enemies We're introducing our first Yokai enemies, starting with Kodama and a few types of Oni. This update will also come with the archer. Use the arrow reflection to hurt your enemy. Finally, face the first boss, Renjiro Nakamura, whom Kazuki searches for through the demo. Combat Improvements New combat style. It's time to show the second playstyle for Kazuki, represented by the hat he wears. By wearing the speed hat, Kazuki can swing his sword faster without stopping. The speed of the slashes naturally results in lower damage, but it increases when the player hits the enemy often. • Development Update #1: New Graphics - 6 June 2024

  Today we want to show the new visual style of The Way of Death compared to the old one. When the development of The Way of Death started, I prepared the simple graphic layout, because I focused on the other things first. Now is the time to change it and make the graphic how we wanted it. We had two directions to choose from. One was a simple graphic in tint of a wooden Japanese dojo. It could make the development simpler and easier and the graphics could be more readable for players. But we wanted something more. With the simpler graphic, we could not give the impression of nature and differences of other biomes planned in the game.
