  📐 Size matters! Levels have been redesigned to take advantage of the new grid size. 🧐 UX improvements! Units with multi-target attacks now highlight all targets on hover. Enemy attacks now highlight on hover.

• 0.4.0 out now! - 26 July 2023

  More panes, more problems! The base grid has been increased in size from 6x4 to 8x4. A bigger grid means more movement and attack options for both you and the devils! UX update Move and attack options now show on hover. This makes it easier to quickly explore your options. Ongoing improvements The "explainer scroll" text no longer overflows. The mouse light now follows the mouse more accurately.

  This patch includes the option to reduce game quality. This change was tested on a 10 year old Macbook Pro and significantly improves frame rate and responsiveness.

• Glass Tactics 0.3.0 is out! - 7 July 2023

  📡 Telegraphed attacks are here! Enemies now tell you where they're going to attack. This is a huge change which pushes Glass Tactics to play more like a puzzle game where the player has perfect information. Lots of balancing and playtesting was necessary to adjust player and enemy stats felt right given this change. ⏪ To err is human, to undo divine There is now an Undo Button (and hotkey, Z)! Gone are the days of accidentally killing your teammate and having to reset your run! Look forward to other quality of life improvements in future releases. 👥 Two heads are better than one TwoFace joins the battle! This imp is as powerful as two imps glued together, and he attacks in two directions at once. Good luck trying to sneak up on this guy! Bug fixes Undo introduced a couple new bugs that have since been fixed. AI has been rewritten to work with the telegraph system

  This release includes lighting improvements and a new enemy, the Devil's Advocate! The Devil's Advocate is Crooked, so he is advantaged when attacking diagonally. I'm also in the process of stylizing power ups. This release includes new art for Hindsight! Future releases will include more devils, more blessings, and new playable characters! • Glass Canon is now Glass Tactics! - 12 May 2023

  I was really attached to the old name, but I think Glass Tactics is more search-friendly and more descriptive. I've done a pass at updating all content with the new name. PS: There should be some new content coming out next week!

• Free Demo Available Now! - 5 May 2023

  This marks the initial release of the Glass Canon Demo! This release includes 3 playable characters, 4 enemy types, 16 rooms, and 4 power ups. This release is available for PC and Mac.
