• New save system - 28 May 2023

  I've finally been able to change the old save system of the game! If you didn't know, in the old system everything was saved in the registry. Now it is saved in a file which is located here: AppData\LocalLow\LiftyGames\Riddles And Sieges\ The file name is SavedData.sav. The system itself wasn't very hard to do, but the reason I didn't do it before because I didn't want anyone to lose their progress. But now I was able to make the progress from the registry transfer to this file when you will launch the game after this update. So don't worry, you will not lose your progress. (At least every test showed progress being transfered properly). This also means that now there is steam cloud support! So you don't have to worry about losing your save file. Also work is underway on a new update, which will bring a new zone, that is pretty unique compared to all of the other ones. That is all for n…

  After defeating everyone that has opposed your kingdom, the next thing to do was to get richer, of course. And what better way to do so, than to find the remains of an ancient civilization, that was swimming in gold, but has been long gone. What is new? Secrets Of The Ancients update brings 15 new levels to Riddles & Sieges, as well as other additional content! New zones to explore and complete: Spring, Arrow Trap and Firespitter! As always, all these zones have 5 leves each, containing different new main mechanics, as well as additional means of defense. Also this new zone has something that hasn't been done in the game before: a secret level! Something is hidden in some of those levels.   - Disabled hotkeys in the level editor as they were conflicting with the camera movement. - Fixed Water Tower not coming back on level 37 after being destroyed - Made some changes to certain levels (19, 30, 33, 37, 39, 40) to prevent several unintentional solutions (although these changes might have created new solutions, who knows) Also a new update is in development right now.   - Fixed a bug that prevented you from clicking on a Sunny Fields button in level select. - Skipping levels now doesn't count towards the achievements. - Not finished levels are now white in the level select.

  This patch brings some new features, as well as level balances and reworks. New additions to the game: - Music. There are now 4 different soundtracks in game. Of course a music slider is now present in the settings menu.
