• Demo version 1.3.1 - 9 May 2025

  Additions/Changes Inspecting a biotope will now highlight neighboring positions that must be filled in order for the biotope to be completely enclosed. Minor adjustments to levelup requirements, and some animal balancing. Toned down mouse rotation sensitivity a smidge. Fixes Fixed: The game would become unresponsive/crash when undoing a levelup by placing an animal while having no landscape tiles left. (phew) Fixed: Missing/stuck completion outline on biotope inspection labels. Fixed: Animal inspection popup usually covers most of the territory; gave it a little more space. Fixed: Pieces snapping to unseen landscape while the mouse pointer is outside the screen. Fixed: Misaligned demo version label while playing with a really wide display resolution.

• Demo Version 1.3 - 30 April 2025

  Additons/Changes The level cap has been increased from level 8 to level 10. There's a bit of a difficulty spike in reaching level 9 and 10. Two new animals have been added. A few existing animals have been updated; both point values and territory layouts. A small reminder will pop up if it seems like the player isn't aware that landscape pieces can be rotated. The camera rotation direction can now be inverted via the settings menu. Keyboard rotation and mouse rotation can be inverted separately. While inspecting an animal, all points received from likes and desire bonuses are now shown. A few minor changes to various colors in the world. Fixes Fixed: Biotope labels weren't updated as often as they should, which could lead to colors or descriptions being incorrect. Fixed: A few minor edge cases could lead to tiny cracks in the landscape.

• Demo Version 1.2 - 14 April 2025

  Minor additions/changes The camera can now be rotated by pressing and holding the right mouse button while moving the mouse. The inspection mode list-thing has been replaced by actual buttons, which should be a bit easier to make sense of. You can still change the mode by right-clicking anywhere though, if you want. The requirements for unlocking biomes and animals are now still visible after discovery. New discoveries are highlighted with a small blip. The icon for "landscape pieces" was replaced with something that sorta looks like a puzzle piece (if you squint).

• Demo Version 1.1 - 10 April 2025

  Minor changes The controls displayed in the lower left corner can now be toggled on or off in the settings menu. The piece counter in the lower right corner will now change colors when you're running low on pieces. Animal treat icons will be visible when zoomed further in; hopefully mushrooms will be easier to spot in forests now. Bugfixes Stopped the game going bananas/becoming unresponsive in certain situations where two biotopes were merged. The visuals of lakes that're converted to boggy lakes are updated entirely.
