Pseudoregalia is, and always was safe to play in practice! There was uncertainty for a bit about the severity of the hack, but it's mostly been resolved. "Mostly" meaning, unfortunately, the previous discord, twitter, and email have not been reclaimed, and it's unclear if they ever will. Everything else is alright though, my machine is clean, no work was lost. The account "rittzler" on discord and previous server for pseudo and related things, "Goodnight Sunlight" have been taken over by a hacker, as well as the twitter and possibly other things. Please be careful, do not download or click on any suspicious links from them, , and please report the account if you see it. Verify your friends identities if something seems even slightly off, as they could be compromised as well.It seems they have also been attempting to post to twitter, however the attempts seem to be getting quickly auto-removed.The developer account here on steam was also compromised, but should be secured now and valve has been alerted. While it is unlikely to happen, if you see any updates to pseudo for the time being, do not download them and do not play them. Hello again, steam! Been a minute! Not much to say this time, just that the Sybil plush is back in a slightly different way- she's in her sleepytime sweater, and is looking a little tired... I wish i had something more substantial for ya'll...but alas, this is it(and honestly it just kinda worked out that it would be ready around the anniversary) I will say at least I am working on a new adventure. It is still fairly early i admit, it's probably quite a ways off, but hopefully it will be something worth waiting for. Hey everyone! The Map Update is finally here, plus a little extra. Let's go into the full patch notes: Added Credits!!! Please check out and support the other wonderful people who helped make this game real Added the "Memento" power up, letting the player access a minimap. It can be found in the beginning of Castle Sansa, near the entrance from the Dungeon. Added Time Trials to each major area. Each one has an outfit reward for completing the bronze time. The Professional outfit has also been retrofitted into a small time trial in the same place- if you complete the time trial in the Castle Sansa area and don't get anything, thats why The Lock-On camera has been reworked and is much more effective at keeping enemies on screen. The camera will try to more aggressively follow the character when Wall Riding and not controlling it. The timing is the same as the "follow activate delay" setti…

- Cloud saves enabled & Beta Patch performance updates for deck/low spec. - 9 September 2023
EDIT: Small update, if you had saves during my previous attempt an enabling cloud saves, you may want to back them up in the event thats steam syncs the old saves over your current ones. I'm afraid there's not much else i can do about this at this point though if i am to enable the feature now! Apologies, thanks for sticking with me through these growing pains. Hey all, it's rittz again, this time with good news. Cloud saves are enabled and working properly! Do be careful if you have any merge conflicts, although the cloud conflict manager should make it pretty easy to understand what you're doing if it comes up. Also note that saves are handled on a per slot basis, so if you have them in different slots they should actually sync without any issue! Second thing is the beta patch- there's good performance gains to be had! My machine has seen fps increases with retro resolution turned off…

First things first- an update to make the game shipping build has moved the location the game reads your save data, but your old saves are still intact. The old saves should be in your %steam\steamapps\common\Pseudoregalia\pseudoregalia\Saved\SaveGames Access by right clicking the game > properties > installed files> browse, then navigating from there to the savegames folder. The new location should be in C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\pseudoregalia\Saved\SaveGames (reference USER is your username of PC). You will need to run the game once with the update for the folder to show up. It will be empty there except a settings save, you just need to paste the data from the other folder, and everything should be back as it was. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience and any scares it might've given you, this is my fault and won't happen again. On the bright side, the install size should be smaller…
