• Space Battle Royale free-to-play and premium release - 8 March 2024

  Space Battle Royale now has a free-to-play version and a premium version. This is the first time we are launching a free-to-play version. The free to play allows you to play all of the maps and core features of the game. The premium version includes special features like the ability to skin and upgrade your ship, choosing laser colors, explosion times, special prizes, and premium tournaments. The first premium feature is a "gold" skin for premium players. We will continue delivering features in this "early access" release and will be launching several tournaments in the coming weeks.

• 2/2 Orb Release - 2 February 2024

  The first major update since the game's early access release, the 2/2 Orb release includes one new map (f16), one new ship type (orb), a new game mode (king of the hill), gem-based progression system, improved AI, leaderboards, and a 4v4 team tournament. Let's start with the f16 ship factory where the mysterious orbs have invaded, requiring you to fight them off either in single player or multiplayer mode, keeping in control of the golden sphere at the middle of the map. Already many players have told us this is their favorite game mode as it encourages non-stop competitive team play in a tight arena. The default game mode on this map is King of the HIll. Next we have the orbs themselves. The orbs will appear on every map if you enable them and start off easier but get harder the more of them you kill. • Space Battle Royale hyperjumps into Early Access on November 16 - 3 November 2023

  The time has come for a showdown in the galactic arena – Space Battle Royale is ready for its Early Access release. The top space aces will bring havoc to their enemies starting November 16th. Tocelebrate the reveal there is a special Early Access Launch Trailer: Space Battle Royale Early Access will run for around 6 months. The full version of the game will have a full Battle Royale mode in addition to the current Deathmatch, including destructible environments and a more complete and polished experience. It will introduce more game modes, more ships and drone types – as well as their customization options. The Early Access version features an uncompromising space carnage for 16 players. Fight your way to victory, unleashing havoc and leaving only the debris of the rival ships behind!

Test your space combat skills in the SBR’s debut contest and become the game’s first-ever champion! Starting today and up until September 25 post your battle application in the “Fall 2023 Community Tournament” channel on our Discord server with the hashtag #SBRcommunitytournament and mention your timezone – and you’re in. We’ll divide you into groups that will play qualifying rounds on September 27 with the best space pilots proceeding into the final that will run on September 29. You can find detailed rules here.
