The fated adventure will continue in mid-to-late August!Hello everyone!I'm excited to announce the release date of the final chapters.Zieg, Veor, and Helaina's fated adventure will continue in mid-to-late August.Be sure to stay tuned. Over the coming weeks I'll be posting more about the game's systems, characters, and stories, as mentioned previously. Additionally, I'd recommend holding off on purchasing the game--as the game will be getting a new, more accessible launch price, along with a launch discount.And if you really want to get the best deal possible, I'd also like to announce that the game has been accepted into Steam Party-Based RPG Fest 2026, where it'll have an even greater discount to celebrate its exit from Early Access and the 1.0 release. It's been 13 weeks since the early access launch of Legend of the Wargod. Development of the next Major Update is ongoing. Here's a sneak peek at the new chapter! Coming soon - Chapter 3: Hailgrave Dominion! Development is going smoothly. Chapter 3: Hailgrave Dominion is set to release early 2025! Steam Deck Support Legend of the Wargod is being developed with multiple target platforms in mind. The Steam Deck is a very important platform for me (and so is its community), and I'm glad to report that Initial testing feedback has been very positive! - Major Update - The Stillthorn Holt! - 30 October 2024
The Legend continues! New content: New Maps: Traverse the Stillthorn Holt and overcome all of its natural and unnatural dangers. New characters: Two new adventurers join your party. In true Halloween spirit, a Skeletal Sage joins and aids you in battle. New Classes: The first Voice Magic classes become available to unlock and learn, aswell as the first Hero Class. New Items: New armor, weapons and accessories to equip, aswell as new combat items to use. Balancing and Bug Fixes: In addition to a whole new chapter, this Major Update comes with a ton of bug fixes and system adjustments, addressing player feedback while already having future updates in mind. Some notable fixes: Skill Upgrade Fix: Skills can now be upgraded through use, improving their efficacy and utility in the fray. It's been 3 weeks since the early access launch of Legend of the Wargod. Development of the next Major Update is on-going. Here's a sneak peek! Most of development is going smoothly. Building the new levels, implementing new items, balancing the game and making the dramatic events come to life is all coming along without a hitch. But there's a couple of hurdles on the technical side - mostly on maintaining progression integrity as the game expands. This is in early access. Unfortunately, save data will break when the next major update comes - so please, when the update comes, start a New Game! A big THANK YOU!! to everyone that's playing Legend of the Wargod and aiding with development. I sincerely hope you're all having a good time.
