• Alpha Update 3 - 8 February 2025

  Hey everyone! Alpha Update 3 for AlterSpace is now live! This update primarily includes modifications to gunplay and combat, but also some QoL fixes/updates. The full patch notes for this update can be found here: Starter weapon has now been modified to be fully automatic instead of semi automatic Increased fire rate for all NPCs Scrolling through and equipping/dequipping guns can now be done with the mouse wheel Main Menu splash screen can now be skipped with ESC Medkits now heal 50hp instead of only 20hp Consuming food now restores 35 hunger instead of 25 Drinking water now restores 35 thirst instead of 25 Modified scale of certain celestial bodies Added hover effects to Main Menu buttons Hope you enjoy the update!

• Minor Patch 2 - 3 February 2025

  Hello everyone! It's been around a year since the last update, but now we're back! We apologize that we haven't released any updates in such a long time, but it was mainly due to issues with corrupt game files that we had to solve. We've also upgraded the game engine version so that we'll be able to use new methods to adding new features and improving the graphics of the game. This update is just a small one, containing mostly optimization and some bug fixes: Minor graphic optimizations Decreased mouse sensitivity Modified scale of some items to be more realistic General, smaller bug fixes We expect to start rolling out updates more consistently again now, and we hope to be able to release a bigger update within a week or two. • Alpha Update 3 Release Information - 8 June 2024

  Hi explorers! Thank you for all your patience with Alpha Update 3! We now expect to be rolling out this update on the 15th of June, so in exactly one week from now - on Saturday next week. As mentioned in previous posts, the update will contain graphics optimization for certain planets, improved mouse sensitivity, more realistic scales, air strafing on low gravity planets and more! In the Community Hub -> Discussions, you can still suggest features and mention all the bugs you've found - and there is a chance that a fix for that bug/that the feature requested still will make it in to this update depending on the size of it. We hope you will enjoy this update, and we plan on releasing updates on a more regular basis during the summer!

  Hello all space travellers! We wrote in the last announcement that we planned to release the next major alpha update for AlterSpace in the end of this month, but however, due to some technical difficulties that will not be possible. We aim on getting this update out as soon as possible. During the development process we've found more bugs that needs to be fixed as well, which we plan on doing before we release the next update. if you've noticed any major - or minor bugs that you would like fixed in the next update, please make a post in our community hub. We do have some more information about the things that will be included in this update however. • Upcoming Alpha Update 3 - 17 April 2024

  Hello all AlterSpace fans! It's been quite some time since the release of AlterSpace, and the last update. Since this, we've gotten a lot of feedback about the game - what we can improve, add and possibly remove. We have taken all this feedback into consideration and we plan on releasing a larger update by the end of the next month for AlterSpace implementing new features into the game, with also bug fixes and other improvements.   Hey everyone! We're just releasing a small patch for this week containing a few bug fixes to the game and also some balance changes. In the update next week we will however introduce some new features as well.
