• Update v1.012, Advanced Leaderboard Data - 28 February 2024

  On a successful new score, your run info will now be submitted alongside your score data. I Won't be resetting the leaderboard, but all previous scores unfortunately don't have this extra data available as it was not gathered. But going forward, all new scores registered to the board will have the extra viewable data. This Includes: Difficulty Mode Co-op or Solo Upgrade Choices Progression Route The data is viewable by interacting with a new Eye shaped icon that will appear below the leaderboard. To interact, just hover over it with your mouse, or navigate to it with gamepad. Thanks for playing!

• First Week Wrapped! hotfix v1.009 - 23 February 2024

  Hey everyone, the first week of NIDUS has gone really well! Thank you to everyone who gave this game a chance, and thanks for all the wonderful reviews. I've also just uploaded another hotfix that addresses some very niche speedrun issues, primarily with rapid level selection. Thank you so much for playing, an good luck climbing the boards!

• v1.007 update - 23 February 2024

  As requested, the leaderboard can now be accessed from main menu! Cursor lock option is now available in gameplay options. Various small reset bugs fixed. The leaderboards are getting mighty strong, thanks again to everyone playing!

• Hotfix v1.006 - 21 February 2024

  Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well! Just uploaded a new build that addresses a rare issue that would cause auto wave progress to stall out, ending up in the player having to wait around for the wave timer to finish. (usually when you clear a wave, next one spawns right away). If you encounter any more problems, you can Post them to the bug thread here in the steam community. Also, there is a discord up if anyone wants to just report them there or come chill and talk about the game! NIDUS DISCORD!

  New arcade shoot 'em up Nidus first caught my eye with its psychedelic bug blast on Screenshot Saturday Monday . Three months later, it has now launched, and for a mere £6 we can all fill our eyes with so many colourful insects. You'd have to pay at least £57 for that sort of fun down the pet shop. Read more
