Hi everyone, after Autarkis, we now have another exciting project to share with you: Kill The Hero, a Dungeon Builder, Autobattler, and Deckbuilder where you are very much not the hero. Kill The Hero Steam Page Deep beneath the earth lies your domain. Brave fools keep entering it in search of glory, loot, and probably a heroic end. They call themselves “heroes”. You call them gold suppliers. In Kill The Hero, you prepare your dungeon before each attack: dig new rooms, build traps, place guards, and arrange everything into the most unpleasant welcome possible. - We are reworking the UI - 24 November 2023
Right from the start the UI was a major problem in AUTARKIS. The game is based on the balancing of resources, so the language of the UI has to be self-explanatory and at the same time informative and minimalistic. These requirements are not easy to implement, but we tackled them. The screenshot shows just a small section of how the mission planning should be designed. The implementation will take some time, but the new UI should be integrated before Christmas.

New World "fungus". I've added a new world, the "fungus world". Creepy colors and shapes, this world is different. Main Menu Second thing is a main menu, that was missing until now. You can reach that by tapping ESC or Option-Button on the controller. Language support I've prepared language support for other languages. I already added a translation for german, but I disabled the "change language"-button. I add the option soon. Changed intro The intro was not good enough for you, so I removed it and changed just to the "autarkis" logo that blends in. What comes next? I'm working on the translations for other languages, more worlds and the fine tuning of the mechanics.
