Retro filtersLittle backstory. Initially, Blessed Burden started as a heavily stylized retro PSX-like game. In the course of development, we came to the conclusion that the pixelated look did not provide enough value to the player, so we put that idea on the bookshelf to focus on what truly matters: levels, gameplay, gamefeel, story, and beautiful brutalistic architecture. And now, after game release and 4 updates, we decided to spend some time and pay homage to the initial game vision. In addition to the primary story mode, the project will have a New Game+ for faster and hardcore playing. Be careful, the video contains an old-school Drum'n'Bass soundtrack. At first, it was a fun idea that didn't really fit with the game's atmosphere. But after more than 80 players tried the first game demo at the Games Gathering Conference in Kyiv, we realized that this game can be played differently.
