In case you missed the news last week, Bang Average Football is now Steam Deck Verified! This is a small update with some QOL fixes for the Steam Deck experience. Improvement: non-functional filesystem buttons (e.g. 'Open Databases Folder') are hidden on Steam Deck. Improvement: whichever gamepad makes a selection on main menu will be assigned/reassigned to Player 1. Improvement: Steam Deck icon for gamepad select screen. A whole bunch of bug fixes and stuff! Bugfix: 'Weighted Passes' Drill is impossible to complete if the game is running at a sufficiently low frame rate. Bugfix: Unlocalised string is shown during cutscene in Horston University. Bugfix: Fan in pub will sometimes say 'sponsorName' instead of an actual sponsor's name. Bugfix: Users can be softlocked mid-match if they toggle the 'Never Use Gamepad for Player 1' setting. Bugfix: Players can walk on top of fences in training if 'Animated Match Entities' is enabled. Bugfix: The same crowd ambience can be triggered twice in quick succession if a player gives away a penalty and is sent off, with an unnatural-sounding result.
