Due to Unity's recent behavior at the corporate level, development on this game is halted until it can be ported to a new game engine. This is a massive undertaking that will not happen quickly, but it must be done. Much more content is planned, but the release of new content will be delayed until 2024 because of this. (If you're reading this after 2024, then a new game has been released in a different engine) ***************************************** ***************************************** ** Based on the Kindle novel: "2023: Alien Bugs Invade Earth" ** A threat is brewing on the outer reaches of the Solar system, and when it makes landfall in 2023, chaos will erupt worldwide. Panic will grip nearly everyone...except for you! In this story-driven 2D casual platform shooter, run, jump, and shoot across levels as you try to take down the alien Insectoids. Since their exoskeleton armor is 3 inches thick, things might not go well for you on the first or second try... Keep at it, and the end of each level contains text-based debriefings where you might discover what secrets humanity has been up to since the 1947 Roswell crash, and those secrets will help you gain upgrades in weapons and armor to turn the tide against the Insectoid invaders in the more challenging levels.
