• Patch 1.4.1 - 10 May 2024

  - 'Master' volume setting now works correctly. - Added the option to disable the FOV shift. - Left CTRL and Right CTRL now work as jump inputs. - Redesigned 'Clock' to have 4 crystals, and the goal is opposite of spawn. - Slightly widened the edge of the ramp on 'Uptown' to make a skip more lenient. - Replaced tunnel texture on 'Walls' with chain-link fence for better visibility. Two new beta branches have also been added, allowing you to play 1.03 and 1.02.

  I have delved back into Tim Sweeney's node-spaghetti cellar for your CBT pleasure. This update brings numerous changes to both improve the overall gameplay, and fix issues with several levels. GAMEPLAY CHANGES: - Pressing 'R' is now a shortcut to respawn - Respawning via the menu or reset button now cancels the respawn timer after falling, meaning you will no longer respawn twice. - The Baller is stickier; landing no longer makes you bounce slightly. This was the cause of the 'input eating' with jumps, as that small bounce was enough to make you go mid-air, therefore unable to jump. The leniency in the mid-air transition is also greater. Previously, once mid-air there was 0.12 seconds where you could still jump. It has been increased to 0.3 seconds, also incidentally letting you roll off edges then jump like a ball-shaped Konkey Dong. - Added an air-dash. Press jump while mid-air to sli…

• Patch 1.0.3 - 26 May 2023

  -Force control has been boosted from 400 to 1000, allowing for much higher acceleration and air control. -A ‘respawn’ option has been added to the pause menu. -The game is no longer a ‘development’ build, and the developer console can no longer be accessed. -Saves are now correctly stored in ‘AppData/Local/StraightBallin/Saved/SaveGames’. There is an engine bug in UE5 where a game will package as a development build instead of a shipping build, even if you select shipping. This was the cause of the save wipe issue. Cheers, Tim. The game should now also perform better. Apologies for any lost progress this caused; you can join the discord and ask me for a save file if you want to restore your progress.

  -Removed duplicate spawnpoint on Warp -Fixed spawn issues, fixed geometry seams, and added lifespan to logs on Logger -Removed chasing wall from Temple I apologise if the update wiped your save data, its an issue caused by UE5 having a different save file location from UE4 that I wasn't aware of until now. I'll have that issue fixed before any further updates come out. If you want to restore your progress, you can join the discord server and ask me for a save file of what world you had unlocked.
