• DEVLOG #01 | Rope Physics. - 14 January 2025

  Project Arrow is a physics-based game, and one of the most exciting parts of its development was working on the rope physics. In the game, ropes hold rocks and platforms that are essential for the player to traverse the paths, and interacting with them is also really fun. Players must shoot arrows to cut the ropes. Besides being a useful mechanic, it's incredibly satisfying to see the ropes snap. ːsteammockingː Sometimes, you'll need to be quick and precise.   Hello! We are Port Hope Games, and we are glad to present our first game: Project Arrow! Port Hope Games We are an independent studio formed by two friends: Hicaro Lima (artist) and Josiel 'Zyel' Nascimento (programmer). Although we already have experience in the gaming industry, Project Arrow is our first project as a team, and we are excited to share its development with you. Project Arrow Project Arrow is a 2D platformer with puzzle elements that tells the story of a nameless cat lost in a mysterious world full of challenges. To progress, players need to use skill and precision, shooting arrows with calculated force and trajectory to solve puzzles and unlock new paths. We don’t have an exact release date for Project Arrow yet, but we can tell you it’s planned for the end of 2025. In the meantime, we’re working to release a demo soon, so you can try the game before the official launch…
