Steam Next Fest Demo Notice The current Steam Next Fest demo for DisasterPlanZ is a shorter gameplay slice focused on shooting feel, combat pacing, enemy pressure, and a boss encounter. DisasterPlanZ has recently evolved from a more linear shooting and escape-focused stage game into a survival shooter built around scavenging, base building, and defense. In the full version, the player is no longer simply running from disaster and monsters. After enduring too many dark days of escape, the protagonist decides to stop retreating, build a human survival settlement, and defend it against the creatures born from the disaster. Because this new direction adds several major systems, the current demo does not yet include the full scavenging, building, and defense loop. These systems are core parts of the full version, not delayed DLC or extra content. The full scavenging system, base building system, defensive structures, defense combat, and more complete progression flow will be completed before release and will not affect the planned launch timing. This demo is intended to let players first experience the combat foundation of DisasterPlanZ: weapon feel, movement pace, enemy pressure, and boss combat.
