- April Fools Event - 1 April 2026
It is hard to believe it has almost been two years since i first released BallBastic! to the world. With every April first, I like to do things differently, so this year we're getting a new perspective on what it means to be a roller. The rules of engagement are simple: when selecting a ball type in the Tutorial difficulty, move left or right until you come across the Dizzy Ball (Event). If you can beat the Tutorial without tossing your cookies, you will win the Dizzy Ball to use all year round. The ball changes color with every attempt, a feature only otherwise used on the Yarn and Bowling Balls! The event runs until April 30th, wherein it will automatically shut down.Additionally, there have been minor bug fixes, graphical updates, and level reordering for a more pleasant experience, even after the April event is over.

- One Year Anniversary Update - 15 April 2025
It's a bit hard to believe that it has been a year since I released my game out into the world. There has been a lot of learning to do; but for requirements to have each build iteration have a unique number, I would have easily lost count the number of times I have made changes. But enough about me, this update is about the game itself. Just a few of the changes that I have been working on since the last update are: Added a cold opening that puts the player right into the game if it is their first time playing. Added a new difficulty called "Tutorial". Total level count increased to 170. Level modifications here and there. Various new ball types, including Sun. A new Progress screen that shows how close the player is to unlocking a ball. Bug fixes and optimizations. As per usual if you notice anything odd feel free to contact me and I will work to resolve it in a new build.
- Patch 1.3.71 - 28 February 2025
Fixed a bug that made Rotational Chaser impossible. Removed a level for low quality (Bumper Kart) and changed it for a new level (Switchback). Reordered some levels in Expert for better difficulty scaling.
- Patch 1.3.7 - 27 February 2025
Fixed a bug that made Slides significantly harder than it should have been. It's a Journeyman level, not an Expert level!
- Patch 1.3.6 - 23 February 2025
Rearranged some levels for more proper difficulty scaling. Pickups will now fluctuate in size. Fixed the newer levels lagging when they were loaded. Game now features a cold opening if you are playing for the first time. No menus, just Novice Score as a Beach Ball. Simplified starting menu for new players.
- Patch 1.3.5 - 18 February 2025
Added 10 new levels to Novice, bringing the total number of levels to 160, plus bonus levels. Exterminated so many bugs, I should start my own pest control service. Gravity has been moved to later in Novice to account for a disparity between its difficulty and its level placement.
- Version 1.3.2 - 5 February 2025
Increased the gravity by 0.6%, which makes the ball "feel" better with no tangible impact on gameplay. Resolved a bug that made the 150th level impossible. Various minor texture fixes.

Added sound effects for Speeders, Slowers, and Teleporters.
- Build 1.8.24 - 6 January 2025
