Hello everyone, we've now updated the game with a brand new UI look and feel, better adapted for controllers. Most notably, this should make the game work on the steam deck. Take Asfalia with you everywhere :-)

- V1.0.2 is back - 4 February 2025
After doing some more internal testing on v1.0.2 we couldn't reproduce the issue that prompted the rollback to 1.0.1. Since 1.0.2 corrects a blocking bug for steam deck users, we opted to reinstate it. We think the issue reported to us was an isolated incident, but please if you do have an issue, don't hesitate to report it on our discord server
- Temporary rollback to v1.0.1 - 2 February 2025
Hey fellow Asfalians, we've discovered a game breaking bug in our latest 1.0.2 update, so in order to take our time to review this and make a proper fix, we're rolling back the game to v1.0.1 which doesn't have that bug. We hope to fix this rapidly early next week. Thanks for your understanding and apoligies to those who might have encountered the bugs.

Heya fellow Asfalians, Asfalia: Fear was released two weeks ago and we've received a lot of positive feedback so before anything, a great big "thank you" for taking part in this great adventure within Charlie's world of emotions. We've done our best to bring you a game without bugs, but our best wasn't enough and some of those cheesy vilains managed to sneak through the gaps. Fortunately, we've been watching many streams and looking at comments from reviewers and on our discord server, and we've been paying attention. So what's been fixed exactly in this update: Kniferatu no longer takes all the attention to himself when you go back to the crypt from the Isle of Greywing. He might have something to say, but at least he won't block the game in doing so. In some specific cases it was possible to fix the drone in Echo Town twice, resulting in an incorrect chip count and an empty 6th drone.…

- Do you speak Français ? - 26 September 2024
Bonjour les amis ! It may be a detail for some but for others it means a lot! Our adventurers now are fully bilingual and the demo is fully localized in French. Beta testers wanted We're also getting to a point where the game is close to being finished. And we'd love to have some testers. Stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks. We can't tell you yet exactly when the game will be released, but 100% it will be out there before the end of the year. And it will be awesome :D
- What do those powerups do? - 29 June 2024
What's up Asfalians ? Steam Next Fest is over and we've received a lot of great feedback from you. There's several requests we're definitely going to work on, but one of the most asked question was to have a better idea of what the different powerups do in Ghost Invaders. So, here goes, we've added a "How to Play" menu in the game with some basic explanations and a list of powerups and weapons: Here are some of the things we're working on at the moment: - French Dubbing - Finishing off the storyline - A matching mini-game - An opening cinematic - Steam Controller Support - Improving performance on high end computers I don't want to spoil the story so there's a lot more to be said, I want to let players discover it. - 🚀 Ghost Invaders Next Fest Challenge 💥👻 - 12 June 2024
Hello dear community, Next fest is on, and we can see that our little space shooter game is having some success! While we haven't implemented a leaderboard system on steam, it seems like that would be a good idea moving forward. In the mean time, since we do get analytics from some players, we can do the next best thing: a community-run contest. So here's the deal, every day, we'll post the three highest scores obtained the day before, and you can either claim those scores, or dispute the highest score by providing a screenshot. - Privacy Update and Bugfix - 11 June 2024
Privacy Update Understanding our Players In an effort to better understand how players interact with the game, we've added analytics to the game. Basically what this does is send us statistics of what players do when playing the game. We track simple things like what language players choose, when they reach certain milestones in the game or interact with the environment. That sort of data helps us understand if the players' experience corresponds to our expectations, and if it doesn't, we can adjust things to improve that experience. Anonymous Data The data we receive is anonymous, we cannot trace it back to you, it is associated to an ID that allows us to distinguish one player from another, but that ID is all we have. Below is a sample event from a user who finished playing a minigame. All we know is the score obtained, and some very restricted information about their operating system…
