Update: Doggy Don't Care is Steam Deck Verified! Previous post:I’ve been testing Doggy Don’t Care extensively on Steam Deck, and I’m happy to report that it’s running perfectly. The game plays smoothly, the controls work great, and the whole game can be played comfortably on Deck.Official Steam Deck Verified status is handled separately by Valve, so for now we’re waiting on that process — but based on my own testing, I’m hopeful Doggy Don’t Care will be officially Verified as soon as possible.So if you were hoping to cause some doggy chaos from the couch, bed, plane, train, or wherever else you take your Steam Deck: you’re good to go! 🐾Doggy Don’t Care launches September 24 on Steam.

Hey everyone! Apologies for the radio silence but I've been hard at work building Doggy Don't Care into a really fun and unforgettable experience. On top of that Doggy Don't Care has continued to make it's way into the public eye through a few in-person festivals and events which has kept me extra busy. Everybody - of all ages - have absolutely loved their time with Doggy Don't care. I just can't wait to get it into more hands. - Doggy Don't Care Receives $100,000 grant from Screen Australia - 12 September 2024
I’m absolutely thrilled (and a little in shock) to share that Doggy Don't Care 🐶 has been selected to receive a Games Production grant from Screen Australia! Check out the official announcement and all the other great games selected! I’m not alone in this anymore I have been making Doggy Don’t Care alone for over a year (maybe even nearly two years now) and I am proud of what I have achieved so far. June 2024 marked a turning point when I quit part-time work to focus on Doggy Don't Care full-time with hopes but no confirmation of securing funding. Thanks to Screen Australia I am not only financially supported but I'm no longer in this alone. Rotub Games now has a graphic designer and composer on board to elevate Doggy Don’t Care to a new professional standard. - Steam Next Fest demo update and new trailer - 10 October 2023
The response so far for Doggy Don't Care has been amazing! I have been lucky enough to have the game featured in the official Steam Next Fest trailer! I'm incredibly grateful to all the players who provided excellent feedback and reported bugs. Here are some screenshots of the new demo below. The demo takes place in a house and garden, but the full game will have more places. I have already started on two new environments (a farm and a museum!).
